its true. MOH cant touch COD, battle Field was ok (IMO), but MOH is just a copy of BC2 so why would that audience even want to buy it?
It will have limited sales and will pay for using DICE, and trying to compete with COD.
The only reason MW2 became such a big hit, is because the casual players/people started to buy it.

Sony didnt understand the importance of multiplayer gaming until MS had xbox live.
Its that simple, without eachother many advancements would not have been made.

I was disappointed that MS didnt put blu ray in the 360 slim.
At least only to play blu ray films if not run games, but the article is true. Without Blu Ray the xbox 360 will be 2nd to the PS3.
To an extent it is halting the industry, however with that being said since MS has given xbox 360 users the opportuinty to install games to USB sticks, maybe they could release games on USB sticks?

I hope you know there will be some people who have no use for PSN or internet on the ps3.
They simply use it for blu ray and when friends come around to play a few games.
I know, a couple of my friends do that.
They have no interest in playing online or anything that the psn offers .
Many fanboys always told me the ps3 is unhackable etc...
But its not true, the ps3 used a different language to previous or other games ...

Many developers thought that there was only a few times of the year when games should be released, but with such huge franchises behind certain titles how can so many games even dent the sales.
I mean EA want to get MOH out at the same time as black ops, it might sell a few million if that, but many players (me) will think how is this different to bad company 2?

The firmwares have been leaked to the net, to run homebrew.
Its a DIY job of flashing a chip with the firmware.

Yea its good sony is taking drastic action but its flooded the net and people will be flashing the chips them selves.
activision dont do the updates...its the developers that do it.
Treyarch have seen what happens to a developer if they dont support the game well, everyone loses faith in the developer.
Treyarch did a pretty good job with world at war, they stopped modded controllers and fixed glitches very quickly.
Obviously now modded controllers can digitally bypass patches but treyarch did patch everything quickly.

The only problem is, there will be more modders and hackers playing with it, since its freely available who knows how far it could go.

Its not as good as call of duty
who wants to bet this game gets hacked weeks after it comes out.
It happens to all 360 games, and the guy who made the infection and 10th prestige lobby's on the ps3 knows how to do it through the game save data.

they could have also removed the fat battery pack, and made it all inbuilt....

Use the voice message, or I sometimes just plug a spare usb keyobard into the xbox.

The ps3 controller is a little too small and I prefer it for sports games.
