If you have a good internet connection you will most likely get host.
As long as the matchmaking is not the same as MW2 it should be pretty good, When I had MW2 on ps3 I got host most of the time and gave most people in Eurpoe and USA a 3 bar easily. (Im in England UK).
Its not the biggest thing, most people wont even notice about the connection. Many are casuals playing with friends for fun.
If you get into a laggy game theres not much that can be done.

I cancelled my shopto pre-order and ordered from HMV, 2 hours later I got an email saying its been dispatched.

Activision are trying to have all pre-order copies sent out on monday, to be fair thats their own fault for having a tuesday release date.
The royal mail is not holding any of the packages/deliveries at all.
The store/warehouse sending them is sending them on monday morning.
I got an email from Shopto.net who said they will be sending them on monday because activision requested it. Activision know since its a tuesday release many will get their games early (like halo reach), so they have tried to press some stores from sending it today/tomorrow.
I should still get mine on monday though..ahaha

EA will not release the figures just yet and they call it a success after saying MOH did not meet expectations..
The only time I will consider the next MOH is if they create an engine from scratch and stop using DICE.

For me MW2 got quite frustrating after a while.
Marathon lightweight and UMP was annoying, people wouldnt even experiment with guns which got boring.
It forced me in not using any other guns in SnD.
From what Ive seen in Black Ops its looking more balanced, but obviously I wont know til I play the game.
I cannot wait to see the back of one man army and danger close.

I dont mind wireless headsets, its just when they cannot fit on my ear is when it gets annoying.
I hope they also improve the voice chat quality, it does sound quite hollow and picks up all sorts of noise.
Even my astro A40's have the same issue with the ps3 voice chat

For both move and kinect, the out of stock things was all down to allocation.
If amazon get the largest allocation and sell out it really doesnt mean much for the smaller/independent stores who will only have a few kinect/move units.
Its how they control hype, both MS and Sony do it.
If they use the allocation correctly they can cause a bit of a frenzy and people will then be trying to buy it anywhere they can due to stock...
This site is pretty small, the problem is Gamebattles. It has a crazy number of teams, players and they have MLG tournaments with cash prizes.
The even have regular ladders where after an entire season they have playoffs.
The gamebattles structure is a little better, but since fraggednation is fairly small everyone should jump in, theres only like 50 or so spots left.

It could be one of those things that will be fun with a few people around, but they should make a video with a chick doing it....

Take Two will not be sold. With Red Dead becoming a serious player in the game market they really have no reason to sell it, with future hits expected from both red dead and GTA.
We all know we are due another GTA and with even more gamers out there, it will sell very well.
Do not forget the 2K games, which have been gaining some momentum and eating into EA sales. I think take two are in a real growth period, they know they can improve by themselves.

My definition of a hardcore gamer is one that will try and play any genre of gaming and try to compelte the single player, and become quite good at multiplayer.
Thats how it should be defined, A person who just likes gaming.
I havent really noticed any major issues either, although voice chat in part chat is a little weird.
These sorts of things usually get fixed fairly quickly by MS support

You are right, I havent changed my GT since I made it.
I will not change it, its unique, I like it and most people know me by that name.
Im not sure if youve noticed but when I do play with friends, even if they change their GT I still call them by the original GT they used.

The masses were bought into the call of duty franchise by MW2 so they expect something similar from Black ops.
Im sure most are holding out for black ops, need for speed, GT5, assassins creed etc...

Me n my squad went on a 300 legit game winning streak, before we all started to get annoyed by how stupid mw2 was.
You just need some co-ordination and good team members.
Just find another 5 guys, and play together and you will become hard to beat.
its just a rip off from nazi zombies in World at War.
The game has nothing to do with zombies, I think rockstar san diego got a little desperate and didnt know what dlc to make.
so they thought if in doubt zombies will work..
