Nintendo hasn't ruled out an adventure game like skylanders, it could still happen. I'd say I expect to see an amiibo focused game at one of the next two E3's.
I'd rather they made a game more like Disney Infinity, though, since that could use each character's special abilities better.

Honestly I can't tell a difference in this video, but when playing you can definitely feel a difference.
I think one of the reasons these console wars seem so bitter is because both consoles are more similar than either side would like to admit.
Also, do you have a Wii U? If not, you're missing out man.
I feel like, had the game been 3D, it could have been much better as I found myself missing what should have been easy jumps way too much.
You mustn't have a Wii U, sorry if I sound like a fanboy... Games like Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros., Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, DK TF, Captain Toad, Shovel Knight and more have made/will make 2014 a great year to be a Wii U owner.
Yeah mate, I agree that The Last of Us was an amazing game last year. I just think that as a remake that adds very little other than resolution and framerate changes it should not be above games that stand on their own.
Otherwise companies would just keep releasing the same games over and over to get good reviews.
Having Watch Dogs above games like Shadow of Mordor and Mario Kart 8 is ludicrous.
Also, where's Smash Bros.? Where's Sunset Overdrive? Come on man, both those titles deserve to be higher than The Last of Us (in HD), Watch_Dogs (the disappointment of the year) and Destiny (the second biggest disappointment of the year).
At the moment Nintendo seems eager to please it's fans, maybe due to them being the underdog this gen, I think their chances for removing region locking are higher than ever before.

True, they do look really good still. I think the thing people are complaining about is the slight difference between what they were shown and what they're gonna get. A bit like the Watch_Dogs thing.

As for the bubble thing, N4G is a harsh mistress. I've said the wrong thing a few times and come back online to 70+ disagrees, I'm surprised I've still got the normal 5 bubbles. It's a smart idea, however I've seen trolls running around with 8+ bubbles and legitimate people with one or two (as with you).
Nintendo, the company which has made you lose sleep playing their games, now helps you get some of that sleep back with their QOL platform. The irony is real.
When a game hasn't came out yet but you can download it in advance so you can play it the moment it comes out.
As with Brawl, I'll be playing this game for years to come. I played Brawl for upwards of 400 hours, but I expect I'll play this even more because it has better online and off-TV play.
Forgetting how Nintendo has been doing almost everything right recently.
Awesome! Glad to see Nintendo catching up with some digital trends like this. I'll certainly be using this for Xenoblade Chronicles X, as I expect that game will be massive and I need to play it the moment it launches :)
I don't like the coloured support stands as much as the clear ones, they make me wonder why Nintendo didn't just change their poses for the amiibo to avoid them. They still look really nice anyway and I think people are forgetting that these are about 2 inches tall so the amount of detail they've managed is quite impressive.
