Don't insult hard working journalists like that! This article is not journalism. It's an essay that the writer got an F on in his 8th grade english class.
I've read N4G comments better written than this article. Bad spelling, bad grammar, bad punctuation, a 12 year old would be ashamed to turn this travesty in to his english teacher.
@killyourfm - calling the fool who wrote this mess an author is an insult to people like Thomas Harris, JRR Tolkien, Dean Koontz, EA Poe, Kathy Reichs and CS Lewis. Calling him a journalist is an insult to everyone who has ever written anything for a newspaper. This article is an insult to eve...
The only obvious mistake I could find was the one month of Qriocity. The free month is only for existing members. New members don't get the extra month.
It's usually best to wait until a crisis is over before you start laughing about it. You watch... the good jokes about the PSN outage will start popping up at about the same time Infamous2 is released.
I'll even make some... just for you.
It's not like making fun of RROD is anything new or unusual. It's only been around for 6 years after all. Got a few classic examples right here. Spot the references.
I call myself a "Half-assed fanboy." I haven't seen any games that are worth the $300 for a 360, but I'm not going to run around and call the 360 a glorified doorstop. The one time I did, I wasn't even serious and still got accused of trolling (First comment - http://n4g.com/news/755962/...
Honestly; the whole reason I don't own a 36...
Ya know.... you would think that people would recognize the difference between serious and not serious.
I kind of figured that people were smart enough to see, "Wow. Wouldn't it be weird if I was really like that?" and figure out I was JOKING, but NOOOO. I get accused of trolling with a comment that any fool reading at more than an eighth grade level can tell from the REST of the comment is sharply critical of trolling.
I should probably just s...
The 360? Really? You just lost all of your credibility as a journalist. All the real gamers are on the ps3.
Wow. Wouldn't it be weird if I was really like that?
As a half-arsed sony fanboy myself, I'm just going to go ahead and blame the trolls, on both sides.
"Xbox 360 sucks."
"Ps3 sucks"
"360 doesn't have any games"
"Ps3 is doomed. Hackers killed it."
"360 c...
Totally agree. Not a fan of RDR, but I got The Lost and the Damned for $10. Same deal....
Wait... same company. Rockstar.
I think Demons of the badlands (red Faction dlc) was $15-20. I'll pay for stuff like that over map packs for CoD....
That and $6 creator kits for Little Big Planet.
I wish I'd thought of bottled water first.
MattS has got it backwards. Stock price, being a side effect of the success or failure of a business venture, is a good indicator of how the business is doing. But that's it.
The best way to make the shareholders happy is to put money in their pockets. The best way to do that is to TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMERS, by whatever means Management sees fit. Different companies have different business strategies. Some work, and give us hugely successful companies like Microsoft and Sony an...
Agreed. My money is precious. I don't want to waste it on a game that I'm going to finish by dinner. Give me 40+ hours or plenty of replayability.
What if the trophies unlocked cheats or other features in the game itself? That's kind of what I'd like to see.
Example: finish [random game]'s main story without getting killed and unlock the 'nasty habit of surviving' trophy AND a cheat that restores your health.
Or think MGS4: finish the game without being spotted and you earn the Octopus emblem AND a gadget that turns Snake invisible.
There are gift cards for $20 or $50 in you psn wallet, as well as cards for three months or one year of PS+. They can be found at any electronics store. I get mine at Best Buy. Psn never got my credit card info.
People have to have at least one bubble. Otherwise, they'd never have the opportunity to earn back their lost bubbles by being funny, informative, intelligent or eloquent.
Every immature, snarky troll should have a chance to try and earn back some bubbles.
There is a lesson for me here. And for everyone else.
"Don't guess, you either know or you don't."
I tried to guess what a billing statement written in Norwegian was saying. I was close, but close only counts when you're playing horseshoes.
My second mistake... more a STUPID BLUNDER really... was assuming the amounts were in $US. Now why would I think that?
It's happened before. On a math test I&...
It may or may not be fake, but it's definitely not $12,500.
Kreditgrense 75,000 (credit limit)
Utestaende saldo 30 April $279.52 (outstanding charges)
Reservert $74,720 (remaining credit)
75,000 - 280 = 74,720
You would think a "gaming journalist" would have some basic math skills.
Sandbox.... next up is the season of the sandbox games. Infamous, Prototype, Assassin's Creed, Just Cause, and the one that started it all (I think) Grand Theft Auto. This genre has places to go and ideas to explore. And there's plenty of room for games to be wildly different. Not different like CoD and Battlefield, they're barely different at all. Different like Metal Gear Solid and Prince of Persia.
That would be nice for the CoD players, but what about the people who play good games?
Good thinking. I've never used anything but PSN cards.
