I simply can't imagine a resolution beyond 1080p anytime in the near future, and I doubt Sony would release a console with the same resolution as the previous one.

I wouldn't say the Wii Remote sucks, but devs sure as hell suck at implementing it properly. Which is sad, because it's not that hard to create a good set of gesture controls.
Take a first-person shooter, for instance. A good set of gesture-based controls could possibly be:

2: Press and hold the Z button to arm a grenade, then swing the Nunchuk overhand while releasing Z at the right time to throw (sort of lik...

Yeah, it's only good if you only own a Wii. Both the Wii and PS3 are better off with exclusives, and don't typically get the greatest versions of multi-platform games.
