"They still have third party on their console though"
But the potential customers(PC gamers) that would have bought an Xbox for its exclusives certainly have lessened after their announcement.
A gamer that's gaming on Xbox is more profitable for MS than the gamer that's gaming on PC. And about the OS market.......dude it's already a monopoly, I really doubt that it's gonna make much of a difference.
But they will lose money on third party titles that are being sold on Steam. Just because they're releasing their own games on PC doesn't mean it's gonna stop people from buying multiplats from different distributors. Add to that there is no gold subscription on PC and they probably lost a lot of money already by abandoning Kinect, effectively wasting all of its R&D money.
And as far as I know, the OG Xbox wasn't profitable for MS. So it's really not a good e...
They did change the latest Zelda a lot though, So it's a good start for them on the NX imo.
If you consider Steam machines consoles too that compete against Sony and Nintendo then sure. Xbox is still a console.
Yea I don't think saying stuff like "found that by pressing random buttons I could win" qualifies you to judge the game by saying stupid stuff like "but it doesn't add much new"
Dude..........you don't even know how to play the game, how are you testing the new mechanics if you don't know what they are? lol
Sony DO NOT push for higher resolution on your games.
Give us 60fps( free sync too if possible)
I don't know about twitch, but on youtube streams I saw more people watch Sony's conference than MS's.
And the video views for Sony's e3 is still much higher on youtube than MS. like 3 to 1 ratio....
lmao
Maybe true but if they don't release their games on Steam they will probably fail aside from the big games. And if they do release their games on Steam(A middleman to MS and a competitor to UWP) what's going to stop them from releasing their games on PSN?(also a middleman to ms and a competitor to Xbox live)
I cant wait
wat?
@Gaming_Cousin
Steam Machine VS Windows Machine (xbox) would be more accurate at this point tbh.
I keep reading comments like "I don't have a 4k TV so I don't need Neo or Scorpio"
Can someone tell me if your console is outputting the games at lets say 4k , even if your TV is only capable of 1080p, Wouldn't something like Nvidia's DSR or AMD's VSR take affect ?
Yep looks like all of the "gaming t-shirts" were all fluff.........Just another executive with a suit afterall
Yea......the guy's losing it lol
That was one epic trailer.
Kojima the master of innovation........my god
It'll be worth it if they added Keyboard and mouse support.
It might not be a console anymore, but with time it could bring alot of pc gamers that don't care about mods to Xbox.
I hope you're right. I want Sony to offer a similarly spec'ed machine.
But don't forget that compared to pc spec for spec a console should be a little more capable because of optimization. So this thing could really shine.
@starchild
But you did buy the console, which is profitable in itself according to Sony, and you're probably subscribed to PSplus if you care about Multiplayer. Plus you'd be more encouraged to buy atleast some multiplats on the system, especially since you already own it. I myself did exactly that for Batman AK and MKX because of how terrible the PC ports were.
