@moldybread ,.. They are allowed,.. but they will fail even harder than PS3 did at the beginning,.. PS3 actually had brand recognition and later on when they lowered price, had quality games ,.. managed to catch up and surpass 360,.. and took them 7-8 years for a 8.5 mil lead.
Except they are not,.. MS is jumping the gun hoping 2-3 years head start to PS5 will make a difference,.. I doubt it.

Hell I upgrade PC every 3-4 years,.. Having to do that with console ,.. I think it is pretty ridiculous,.. Hope this fails hard for both,.. and that the standard console sell insanely better.
The problem I see is they don't drop PS4's price significantly,.. so basically I guess when I need replacement I will have to buy NEO,.. which I don't give 2 shits about. Would rather have a standard PS4 at 200 with 100M+ user base.
Sony does not need a need new console. We are 3 years in generation,... there is maybe 70m consoles sold across 3, this gen. Just because MS cannot compete, they don't have to start next gen early,.. If anything MS will get pummeled even harder with their (probably quite expensive) Next gen console (while they are pretending it is not) Well it won't be,.. since it won't have any distinct software,.. This will fail harder as surface (which is actually competent) or that zune thing ...
