Just like RE3 remake was reportedly worked on at the same time as RE2.....but clearly if so with a lot less effort put in.
News like this doesn't mean anything if the effort isn't there to improve on the original. I'm not just talking graphics. RE3 is such a letdown.
Though if PS5 had the power advantage you can bet it would be all about the power in their campaign.

@ricegum it's not 3 full games you complete cretin. They split it into three parts. Yeah it might not have been ready to release as a full game but they are going to charge you and everyone else 3 times for the full experience.
1/3 of a full narrative is not a full game.

Let's not forget Xboxs SSD is already much much faster than anything before also allowing instant transitions and minimal loading.
So...it's pretty clear which console is technically superior. MS just need those studios they brought pumping out some classics which it sounds very promising so far.

It's not a complete game any way anyone twists it. The original is a full game with a complete narrative.
This is a portion of a full game. I doubt worth $60 by itself. Myself I'm waiting until this is finished so I can play the complete story in one go without a long wait for new parts. Luckily when it hits Xbox it should be of complete by then. I have no issues with waiting a bit longer until everything is finished to get the full experience from day one.
Still it's nothing new that MS hasnt already done.

Capcom really needed to spend more time on this whole package.
Finished campaign in 4hr 36 myself. First run through and not exactly speeding through it. The cut locations are a real shame. Along with the lack of choices. Resistance isnt anything to write home about either.

@whitbufox they literally talked Nemesis up like his AI is similar to Alien Isolation. It's nothing of the sort. A lot less effort went into this than most people are realizing. They didn't even update zombie models. Cut and paste.
The hacked off content says differently. It's all graphics and not giving a damn about the source. It's okay overall but could have been so much more. It should have improved on the original in more than just the graphical Dept.
It was already the least fave of many out of the first 3 games. They could have really done something special with it.
Talking up Nemesis also like it was some advanced AI like the Alien in Alien Isolation. 🙄
