I've only ever looked at MC out of curiosity, not as a determining factor in a game purchase.

I'm happy to see you can manually turn it on for games that haven't officially patched it in. So unless there's problems caused by it you can use it anytime.

edit: I'm looking at the FAQ. One is "I received the wrong case" so it looks like you do get a case and manual if it included one.
If Soulstorm had come out on time they would still have made the same amount of money.
Having a PS PLUS title is a WAY different beast than a $40 game and in that 4 months I don't think there would have been a HUGE difference in sales had it not been on PS+.
I downloaded it. I really liked the world, it looked great, I think it's a good game. I never played one of them before. Hopefully this game has gained some fans and their next project can see more success.
That's only 3 out of thousands. More than 90% of mobile games are predatory and just give you busy work, promising less work if you pay up.

Yeah that's totally the impression I get. Like it's JUST business to them. It's of course a business for everyone but without some kind of backbone of creative pursuit I'm just repelled by it.

Often a company will release a product that criticizes something but then also do the thing it criticizes. ie Squid Game was about Westerners taking advantage of South Koreans for entertainment while Netflix took advantage of them to produce the show.
HZDs broad narrative was how climate change destroyed society as we know it so it'll cool that they're actively supporting their own themes and making a positive impact.

Most of them time there isn't even a game suspended. It's caused the system to completely fail once too and I had to reset it to factory settings.

I think their first move needs to be just to let the teams decide what to do next. Develop a rapport and establish how to work together.
I've seen some push back on Embracer Group and I haven't looked into why but they own THQ Nordic and they've been doing some cool stuff and excellently remaking some PS2 era classics. Hoping for Tak soon.
