I really like that aspect of balancing what you are equipping with how that affects you, not only does that bring in that extra touch of realism, but it also adds some nice RPG-esque elements to the equation.
I don't know the legal or technical issues involved, but consider a PS4 port?
A lot of great source mods have become full-fledged games, that's just awesome. From what I am reading on this game it seems like a very high-tension shooter, which is a nice break from games with instant respawn and the like (not that I don't play those games, because I do, but it's nice to have something a little different too!)
Another great looking game I had never heard of, thanks for the coverage N4G!
As an RPG focused gamer with only a slight love for FPS games the Destiny beta has only served to confirm what I already knew, for my personal taste this will not be the best game ever or game of the year even, but it will certainly be a great game that I will enjoy.
Everyone keep in mind that RS has stated that Arkham Knight is a new character, this in no way definitively means his secret identity will be altogether a new character.
Further proof that my theory is correct and the Arkham Knight is Jason Todd?
As a PS4 fan, notice I did not say, "fanboy," I am glad and unsurprised to see the PS4 has an edge once again. For all those complaining that the Xbone version is old code, so is the PS4 version, so these comparisons are more than fair.
All that being said the game still looks amazing on the Xbone, and no one who plays it will notice anything unless they play it side by side with the PS4 (and seriously if you can afford two TV's side by side with a next-gen co...
Glad the Kinect has some kind of use at least. I bought a Kinect for 360 at launch. This was one of my crappier ideas in retrospect.
I have not had a chance to use the Kinect 2.0, but I don't imagine it's a huge improvement.
Storytellers art style reminds me of DLC Quest, and that is in no way depressing.
Storyteller certainly looks like an interesting game that I would be interested in, will have to check out the demo sometime.
/\ For my above comment, I do realize that the links here provided are just demo's, however I have seen some Kongregate games that were considered complete games, and from that popularity they grew into full fledged Steam games (I'm looking at you No Time To Explain). Also I am aware that Kongregate is just a landing place for creators, and not the actual creators. Sorry for the confusion.
"I am not sure "people should play" my games or anybody else's"
This is seriously an awesome attitude to have, not trying to cram your game down anyone's throat, just offering it up and letting it stand on it's own merit. Nice!
I've got to say that I am surprised with the caliber of games that Kongregate is putting out lately, is this the new indie stomping grounds? At least a starting off point?
I saw someone mention Xenoblade X, and I must say that is the number one best argument in defense of the WiiU, as that game does look positively awesome. Other than that though I can honestly say that not one WiiU exclusive game appeals to me personally, especially not enough for me to purchase the console.
Even the new Zelda game does not grab me, and this is coming from a huge Zelda fan. I enjoyed all the classic era games, think Ocarina of Time was easily one of the top ...
Dear Nintendo,
Stop pushing motion controls and other strange control schemes, make a console that can actually handle a modern day game, support third parties, and make some half decent games WITHOUT Mario in them.
End of survey.
The reality of the situation is that as a PS4 owner I have the most powerful machine on the market, software can always be updated, you can't upgrade the laggard consoles hardware, so take your time Sony. That being said, seriously, when can I suspend downloads and change my wallpaper?
The great thing about Kickstarter is that it allows these passion projects to become a reality. Are Kickstarter games the best games out there? Well no, but each an every one of them has this certain spirit about it that sets it apart from traditionally published games.
The Shadowrun universe truly is a unique setting, the mix of modern steampunk and fantasy makes for a world unlike any other. We need more great Shadowrun games, keep pumping them out!
PS4 seems to be the generally preferred console all around then, this doesn't come as a shock to anyone who has seen the sales figures...
