Not really, these problems have been around since AC1, at least on PS3.
Who approved this?
Haha, your comment ends like you're about to tell us a cryptic and spooky story that links to the shortages.
Just imagine it: "A couple of guys who worked at the plant discovered that the units were possessed and decided to burn the place down to prevent the incoming evil from spreading through the world, unfortunately, they were too late, a large percentage of the units were already shipped overseas. The world might not meet tomorrow's dawn, God help us."
@gaffyh
I know man, was a victim of that one myself :(
Don't know if it is because Nintendo is being cautious about it, being a new console and all, and supposedly being sold at a loss or maybe it's giving them a hard time to manufacture so many consoles and controllers to supply in time for release and Christmas like jmc8888 pointed out.
Maybe, maybe... Or it could actually be a hot item already due to being a new, greatly priced Nintendo console coming just before Christmas.
Odd... I recall Iwata saying they would not sell it at a loss, oh well, doesn't change the fact that I'm eagerly waiting to play mine! C'mon! Give me some Monster Hunter!
Sonic and Mario will never be allies... Oh wait!
My point is, you never know, but if CoD goes exclusive, it would probably be for a Microsoft console.
I can't stop thinking about that small, flying robot from Jet force Gemini while looking at this thing!
Because it's made mainly for the simplistic people that demanded Nintendo to support a "regular controller" with their new console even though the Gamepad is the same freaking thing but with a screen, the same kind of people who couldn't figure out the Wii remote...
So... can I connect my bluetooth headset?
I finally managed to get a Deluxe model from Walmart through layaway earlier this week!
That can only mean 1 thing... Club Nintendo points!
I'll keep my hopes up, they didn't include 1 GB of ram for the OS just to have it there doing nothing.
I also want to point out that the other feature I would so treasure is being able to do some web browsing while playing a game, that would be so sick!
Not in certain games, if my friends decide to get a Wii U and Monster Hunter along with me, it'll be a huge deal for us. Games like Battlefield 3 are also best enjoyed that way IMO of course.
And if I recall correctly, wasn't it Nintendo who paid for Tri's advertisement in the West or something?
The lack of a second analog stick might have had something to do with that, besides, this game will have G-rank missions as opposed to Tri.
It's like Kaz Hirai is permanently stuck in my head after reading your comment...
"FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS!"
I'm with the guys that say it's just a placeholder price, doubt Amazon would know the release date already if it's that far away, let alone the fact that it says January 02, i mean, why such a random date?
Don't worry, I bet it'll come out shortly after the Wii's Vitality Sensor.
I could have taken an intense dump while playing this in the bathroom, shame...
Seriously now, It's not a deal-breaker for me but Nintendo should make this mandatory, since that's one of the main features from the Wii U.
