Scroll down...it's not the chopper kill they're on about, there's a 10 second vid with a sniper taking out a jet

I don't know why this is such an issue for MS and Sony. I can see that MS clearly want yet another additional extra to charge you for, and I can possibly understand the reasons behind keeping your details the same to make it easier to report a user or whatever. But surely it's as simple as giving the user an 'account name' which cannot be changed and a 'screen name' which can be changed at will for those who wish to do so. That way any alerts or reporting can still g...

I'm sorry but we don't need remastered versions of games that are barely even one generation old. If you're going to remaster something go for the real classics, like original XBox or PS1/2 titles or even further back...

"The guy did say all he mostly did was push X and everything was being done for him"
No, that was just in the abseiling section. How many games with an abseiling section isn't that the case?

"Ryse complain end up being about repetitive enemies and gameplay mechanics, and not QTE"
QTE is a gameplay mechanic...

@ThatOneGuyThere - MGS2 Demo...

OT - the thing is, the opening level of a new game (especially a new IP) will most likely be one that teaches you the gameplay mechanics. So yeah, it may have a fair few QTE and instant fail in the demo, that doesn't mean it will be the same throughout the whole game.

It's the final game in the series isn't it. Could the caption not just be referring to that?

"Open World" - is The Order 1886 open world? I hadn't heard that...and unless there been a shift in the Uncharted series that won't be open world either.

I was looking forward to this title for some time, but after this years releases from Ubisoft that i've played i'm thinking of holding off purchasing for at least a few weeks to see how much of a finished product is released. It's starting to get to the point that you're being punished for being a fan or an early adopter - nothing comes out as a finished product, you purchase at it's peak cost but if you'd waited until the bugs are fixed you could have picked up a new...

If you look at who's selling it explains the price difference. The XBox is sold directly by Amazon, while the PS4 is sold by a 3rd party (Luzern). The PS4 bundle sold directly by Amazon is £349.99 (14p more expensive).

@DeadlyFire - it's not really too early. Look back on some of the big titles released on the PS3 via PS+. Just a few examples; Hitman Absolution - released Nov 2012, on PS+ in May 2013. Tomb Raider - released March 2013, on PS+ in March 2014.
1 year is historically long enough for top titles to appear on PS+.

What I don't like is that you lose points for a collision when someone decides to crash into you. But I suppose you can only do so much with an extra years work.
That being said, I'm glad PS+ users don't have to pay full price, but get an upgrade option. Has allowed me to get the full game for next to nothing thanks to birthday gift cards.

@NukaCola
As much as I like GT, it's more of a simulation than Forza but it's not a full simulation. Just beacuse you can modify the settings of the car, doesn't make it a Sim.
Until recently there wasn't even damage or the ability for cars to come off the road (i.e. flip or jump)
It was the closest thing to a full Sim on consoles for a while but it's never been 100% Sim.

That being said I think the line in the title - "Open ...

@WeAreLegion The Guinness record was set by averaging 2 runs in opposite directions those two runs were 427.93 km/h (265.90 mph) and 434.20 km/h (269.80 mph).
The Hennessey Venom GT hit 270.49mph at the Kennedy Space Center on February 14th. However they were not allowed to do a second run in the opposite direction as such they are discounted by Guinness.

Also, the Veyron may be quick in a straight line but it can be beaten around a track by a Caterham which costs le...

While I agree with Foxtrot completely (in fact I'm bored of it already and am struggling to be bothered putting the time in to complete the story), I would ask how that differs from practically every FPS game?
All FPS games are just get from A to B, shoot some enemies on the way, maybe disable/enable or pick up/drop off something too. FPS games in general don't have much variation other than where they're set and the weapons that are used - especially given how weak the s...

@philm87 - Fifa gameplay is poor (can't see how they can give it to Fifa). As stated in the video, it's all about pace. That's not how football is played. You have to work the ball around the pitch, build up play and pick the right passes. Fifa doesn't do any of that - no-one moves into space ahead of you to play the ball (unless they're already ahead), which is poor when your striker has to drop deep to receive the ball, then you've not no option but to run throug...

@steven83r - "As for Project Cars, I can't really consider it "indie" in my book simply because it is a huge, visually impressive game that leads me to believe the developer had millions of dollars in their budget."

Did you not read Bishop's comments before submitting yours? "Indie" has nothing to do with the budget spent on the game - it's about it being self published by the developer, without the help of a publisher.

Given it's an always online game i'm guessing a lot of money went into making sure the servers could handle the pre-order sales and maybe even a few years more. Bungie would know from the success of Halo what they'd need to ensure a smooth online experience and to have this set up from launch would have cost a fair bit - rather than gradually building it up over time.

This genre needs a new developer to step in just to liven it up a little, it's gotten really stale and there's no innovation coming from from EA or Konami - and very little development on previous iterations.
Someone just needs to step in with a completely unlicensed game that has fantastic features and great gameplay - the licences can come later - or just put a kick-ass edit mode in it.

For me Gameplay will always win out over Grahpics. Yes having stunning graphics is nice, but if playing the game is like walking through a pool of syrup then what the point. Honestly i'd be satisfied with PS3 TLoU graphics if the game played well.
