The fact of the matter is UE3 is not an engine built for RPGs. Its also an engine made here in the US.
Thats what they get for being cheap by buying a license for Crappy Engine like UE3. They would be profiting right now had they used the Crystal Tools engine (which is Multiplatform now and can be ported to both consoles with an ease accord...
when FF XIII releases on the PS3, you'll see them come back for PS development. the game is suppose to launch in Japan Next year as a PS3 exclusive, although it sounds like they are thinking of reconsidering the move.
