the cell can act as a GPU as well. Sony originally intended to put 2 Cell processors into the PS3, but things were getting pretty expensive, not to mention alot of developers would be confused on how to develop for the Hardware, so they replaced it with the RSX.

Most importantly how they stated that the hardware in the PS3 is just all hype, when in fact, a game like killzone 2 is not even possible on the 360 or on any platform what so ever. The PS3 is that powerful. The Cell is black magic. Its that amazing. Just looked what it pulled off with the help of the RSX.
Even if we would think about KZ2 like that in the next 7 days ( if GOW3 looks good), keep in Mind that killzone 2 will be one of those games in the History of gaming we will all remember for a long time.
