I have to wait until June to get my hands on this, the suspense is unbearable.
I suspect this update was in development way before the format war was concluded, so it was probably a bit of no brainer for them to release it.
I've been meaning to get a PSP for ages and this game will force me into action. Anyone know if you get to play as any other characters like Sephiroth or Cloud?
with the lighting from what I could see in this video, it looks very realistic. Its not a great quality video but it still looks very good and a must buy for lots of PS3 owners. I think it will sell at least a couple of million PS3 units.
to get wrapped up in the now, looking at that history and those figures makes you realise how far the new kids on the block have to go before they go down in gaming history.
It also puts to rest any kind of notion that the PS3 will crash and burn when you look at the trailers and numbers for GT and FF. Those games alone will ship millions of units for sony period.
I've just checked it out and that looks pretty good, bubbles...
P.S. Warhawk last night rocked, I love the aircraft :)
although I blame Oblivion mainly its just so big and i'm so engrossed in it I've kinda forgotten about the other recent purchases. I am going for a warhawk session tonight though.
Back on topic its been a while since i've played a top quality platformer, Earthworm Jim on the Snes was the last I played I think :) I'm gonna invest in this one though.
I'm half way through Oblivion IV, I've just started Colin Mcrae, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword have just arrived in the post. I've got games overload and I'm gonna be broke soon. I need a 3 month quiet pediod to get through all this quality... not that i'm complaining!! :)

buying this game although I don't know if eurogamer are trash talkers, you have to take there comments semi seriously.
I've read a few previews which follow a similar line to this and I just don't like it when developers coz they know they have a hit franchise get lazy and don't do something justice. The kind of vibes i'm getting of Bioshock are the ones I want of Halo too...
I was hoping with all the hype that Halo 3 was going to deliver something of the charts which I'm not reading. I don't see why they can't keep the basic Halo feel and still deliver something with the waw factor...

This game was totally of my radar until I started seeing some of the stuff at E3 and now I can't wait for this game it just looks like so much fun, it almost looks like a game that Nintendo have made as they are the past masters of making those cool, fun games so hats of to Sony and Insomniac for this...
There may be a better game library for the 360 at the moment although I believe that will change in the next 6 months and it will even up. I think your point over value for money is far too sweeping a statement and a load of rubbish, I bought my PS3 as a games console and blu ray player so it comes as a bargain to me. I think you'll see the effects of E3 and the price drop kick in over the next couple of months and the gap will close a bit although I still think until the games come 360 will lead. Good to see the PS3 sales picking up in general even if they do still lag behind 360.
Oh man this is totally gonna rock, I'm just finishing Ninja Gaiden so this is very well timed as is the general release date, it will mean I have something new to play on my PS3 once I finish Ninja.
How can they give the best hardware award to a console with appauling build quality which has resulted in the high failure rates that have been reported...
So they've sold 1+ million consoles in 9 months and the stella games that everyon is waiting for are yet to be released..I'd be pretty happy with that I think. I certainly would't be making foolish statements like "Sony are crumbling in Japan".
This was one of the first game trailers I saw for the PS3 and along with some others convinced me the PS3 was def worth investing in.
RPG's are one of my favourite genres so I'm really excited about this and as Japan seems to love its RPG's I expect this to shift quite a few units over there.
GTA IV has just come out and so to ask this question now is silly. Even so OoT still comes out on top despite being 10 years old.
The question here guys is will we still be talking about GTA IV in 10 years time, I doubt it. We still talk about OoT 10 years on and it still tops the polls, that along with FF7 for me are greatest games ever. I'm half way through GTA IV, good game but not a 10/10 or greatest ever.
