As a PlayStation owner and huge fan of Battlefield. I'm not upset at all really.
I was under the impression that this is what EA access was and has been what has been happening since Xbone received it and Sony turned it down.
It's a 5 day difference. TBH I can hold out for 5 days and then no one will even care. The industry needs to stop being so sensitive for the love of god. personally I don't even see this as news.
This also doesn't show up in sales. Typically more people buy PS4. Probably because they like the games better which personal I think makes the system better.
The PS4 textures look way better and the graphics over all. The Xbone version clearly isn't better in this area. It's also way darker contributing to less processing. While the xbone does have the advantage in fps it also dips to 30 at parts and in other area's as well. Over all I;d still rather have the ps4 version as it looks better. Clearly both systems should be able to run a game like this.

The difference I always seen between the two consoles is Sony is always pumping out new ip's and innovating that way.. where Microsoft always sticks to the same i'ps Halo, Gears, Forza or try's to reboot old ip's from studio's they buy. Disc based games will load to the console memory when the user selects the game. The game stays in the memory until the application is closed with the new consoles. A. Sales determine for Dev's what console they want to put their game on or use as a lead platform for development on a game or new i.p. That's why it's important. They tend to lean towards the more powerful easier to program for console.

In reality. The amount of third party games released from September to December still has me back cataloged that even if I could play it I would wait till I beat Farcry4, GTA5, Remaster, Dragon Age Inquisition, Destiny not to mention all the PlayStation Plus drops since I have PS4, PS3 and Vita..
