PS Vita is a handheld coming into the market at a bad time. Nintendo dominates the handheld market. The PS Vita needed to show why it is necessary to have it but it failed. Now, with the PS4, we can see what Sony was planning with the PS Vita. We just couldn't see it with the PS3. The 3DS offers absolutely nothing new other than 3D which any people didn't care for. There is no real separation between the 3DS and the DSi. That is why both of these units did not sell well at the ...

Shanghai was definitely better than Metro for a Beta, however, the aquatic vehicles seemed out of place on that map. They would either dominate the map or have no effect at all because they would get destroyed immediately.

First off, my discs stay in the condition I got them in and all my manuals are in plastic sleeves. Second, I wasn't trying to bash on GameStop like a lot of people do. I was just saying that I was surprised I got so much money for my trade-ins. There were a couple of games that I got 75 cents for. I think gears of war was one of them. Bit I'm not complaining, I was somewhat bragging and trying to tell people that GameStop can be a great place to Trade-in games a...
Actually I got a decent amount back for my trade-ins surprisingly. 30 games netted me $230. What's more surprising is that most of them were older games that I bought used for under $20 some were $5 when I bought them through Glyde.com. Monopoly for PS3 shocked me the most. They gave me $14 before the 10% and 30% trade credit
I would like to play but I'd settle for watching. But I live a few blocks from a gamestop, Walmart, bestbuy, and target. So, I'll have my pick to test out the systems. That is if I can wake up early enough. And I'm not worried about spoiling anything. With the 360, I played CoD 2 in an EB Games and I was hooked. The graphics looked so real ;-) I just had to have a 360. I'm pretty sure Ryse is going to provide that same feeling Even though my XB1 is paid for already, I'...
Steam. Enough said.
I'll sign up for that. Just played some Frogger and Riverraid on my Atari 2600 the other day. The power of that system is amazing. I was this green frog jumping across some logs to get to the other side of a river. It was awesome. Then I piloted a jet. I had to take out helicopters and battleships. I was refueling mid flight and blowing gas tankers at the same time. I also played some boxing on the Atari. Those boxers were so life like. Fighter Within has a pretty high bar to re...
People need to understand that just because someone did a study doesn't mean that they did it well or that the information is correct. Now, I do believe that this study was done well, although, it would be better if another study was done by someone else to compare the results. MS wins here because of they appeal to a broader audience. They have the TV features, the allure of the kinect, apps like netflix, Windows UI, the Microsoft ecosystem. If your a real gamer or a hardcore gamer then...
The article seems to suggest the XB1 being the better version. However, all talk about the PS4 being superior leads people to believe that the PS4 version is the better one. We will know in about a month. I can't wait.
While this design looks horrendous, I do hope that MS and Sony will make it easy to customize the consoles. Similar to how there were skins to buy for the 360 and PS4. I also am curious as to what vault has planned?
Lol. If MS had a headset like Sony has then it would be easier to wait it out until the adapter is released.
Edit: I wonder if the adapter is going to cause the audio to be sub par?
That's crappy. How am I going to hear myself when using my Astro A50's? I don't want to be yelling at the TV. If I use my Astros, will I hear other people through the headset or through the TV?
GTA V is like all the other GTA's in regards to mission layout. Do what you want, when you want with a storyline to tie it all together. The MP in GTA is an add on to the single player. Single player is the main focus of the game. How is it just a tutorial for MP?
Why is 6 or 7 to young to play this game. Kids do play with Nerf Guns. They play cops and robbers, they play army games, they used to play cowboys and Indians. They watch cartoons. Cartoons can be the most violent program on tv. At 8 I can take my nephew to play paintball, ; real life CoD; a war simulator. Black ops 2 had a parental setting for the single player. My nephew knows not to curse and he a very polite and respectable 8 year old and he's played CoD MP for about 2 years now...
We need the casual shooters because they are quick. Some people don't have all day to play a game. If they get a half hour to an hour to fit in gaming time and they like FPS games then casual shooters are a great genre. That is where CoD excels and why Battfield hasn't been as popular. In CoD, MP matches last about 10 minutes. In Battlefield, they can last an hour. I can play one match or six matches? What should I choose? Quality or quantity? Most people have the I want more at...
Call of Duty is the reason why my brother bought a 360 and it is why he continues to play it. When CoD 4 came out he convinced about 6 of his friends to buy a 360 just to play CoD. Every year they all get the new CoD and they buy the season pass and they play it all year long. That's 6 people involves in gaming now that probably wouldn't have been if CoD didn't exist. So what if they only play CoD? Do people who only play sports games get the same crap from other 'gamers'...
I think that's thing that people fear when purchasing digital content. Purchasing digital movies or music is easy because itunes, amazon, windows all have an established relationship with its customers. You could ask the same question about them but it is unlikely they will ever shut down. Plus, I can access my purchases from any computer and practically any device. With game consoles, your purchases can be used only on one device. Once that device is no longer supported I will still ...
I don't think Crytek is saying MS had to rewrite the code recently. The game was in development for 7 years. The code was probably rewritten years ago. Also, he said "for this type of software". Maybe what crytek is doing is difficult for any console to deliver. When we here more about The Order: 1886 then we can have a proper comparison between the consoles on this type of game and the ability of first party developers. The Order has an insane amount of detail in the worl...
Both consoles need to hurry up with the expandable memory. How are we going to take advantage of PS+ or use the PS Store. Same goes for XB1.
Sony is greedy as well. They just hid it better. The whole DRM debacle wasn't just in Microsoft's plans. Sony had wanted to do it too bit changed their approach after MS got beat up over it. That's why Sony had two different presentations prepared for the PS4 reveal.
One person on my friends list switched to the Sony camp. Everyone else is staying. I believe it's because they like Live and the community. I like that as well but I could fond myself getting used t...
