Kind of misleading. It's only discounted if you're a prime member, and there's nothing unique about that. All game preorders and new releases are 20% off if you have prime
Scarlett Hamilton-F#%k you, guy just died and you're here hocking your spammy bulls#%t. Have some f#%king decency.
Awesome game! Only game I've ever played where you get points for shooting someone in the anus :)
Loved this game, gameplay is definitely a new high for the series. But the boss fights were really weak (almost nonexistent), was super excited to fight Deathstroke again after that awesome fight in Origins, and the fact that his and a few other key fights were relegated to tank battles was massively disappointing. Don't get me wrong I actually enjoyed the tank fights, but using it for key boss battles was really lazy.
Very well said my friend
Microsoft and Sony both managed to sell their hardware at a small profit at the beginning of this generation. And while it's true that they make most of their money on software, the Scorpio is an extra option, and won't necessarily move much extra software (most will be upgrading their Xbox One and would have bought the software anyway). Which leads me to believe that they will be looking to make a profit on the console itself, making a less than $500 price point highly unlikely. I co...
The fact that almost no one in this comment stream is pointing out the hideous writing and grammatical errors in this article shows that most just read the title then started sh#t talking. Lol.
I think the fact that's it's weaker than the Scorpio will be (allegedly) is a big part of it. And like the guys at DF said, they didn't do the best job of really communicating the advantages if you don't have a 4K HDR tv. Most of which are in excess of a $1000 in the US. So goin into the years end, people are faced with a $400 console, $400 VR headset, and potentially very expensive tv purchase. I'm hoping that they release many more details about super sampling and such o...
I agree. I'd be thrilled to see Nintendo just go third party and stop making hardware. Their hardware is gimmicky, and the third party titles are mostly shovelware, but they create some of the most consistently high quality first party titles in the industry. Being able to play Zelda, Mario, etc. on console or PC with a normal controller and higher end graphics would be awesome. Instead of shelling out hundreds of dollars for a gimmicky console with maybe 10 games a cycle that are any goo...
Good thing it's not an endless runner then. The video clearly states and shows that there are separate levels with ending flagpoles at the end of each level. This will be much more akin to the Rayman phone games than an endless runner. Which as a side note, were both excellent.
I agree that the lack of a 4K player is weird, but when I really think about it, I don't really own or watch many Blu-ray Discs. Now if I got a 4K tv tomorrow, sure I'd probably wanna buy some discs to play on it. But I feel like most people stream way more anymore than watching physical media, a 4K player would have been nice, but if it would have knocked the price up to like $500+, I'm ok with it being absent. Just my two cents. It is a bit of a surprise though.
Yeah, obviously the Scorpio will be more technically powerful, but I think a big thing here the fact that the Pro will only be 400 dollars. Which was the original price for PS4. And a very reasonable 299 for the slim. So those who have yet to take the plunge have a very appealing option in the slim, and current PS4 owners can kick it up a notch with the pro for about the same price that they paid for their PS4. For me the real kicker will be deciding whether to get PSVR or Pro first. I don...
Good article, half the people on here just knee jerk and start shouting click bait and cursing about SJWs the minute the topic comes up, and they'll never read your article anyway. It was well written and a good perspective from an actual female gamer which we don't get very often. Keep it up.
"Sony's software is pretty bad, the console is ridiculously noisy and the exclusive games aren't as appealing as those available on Xbox." What the f*#k? Software is bad? My Xbox One is way louder than my PS4. And the exclusives thing is entirely subjective. Love how he doesn't back up any of those statements just says them like they're facts.
I'm a fan of bloodborne and souls but this is grabbin me in a way even they haven't, at first I thought it would be a clone, but there's so many things Nioh does to make the formula its own, way deeper combat system, very satisfying.
Your flamebaiting is a bit too obvious. Learn some subtlety my friend, not even gunna give you a dislike lest you get your rocks off :)
I'm actually surprised that they're handing out refunds. They didn't have to, guess it shows the size of the sh*tstorm after the game's release. Definitely wouldn't call it greed though, game was overpriced to begin with, so even someone who got some enjoyment out of the game probably deserves about $40 back. Lol.
I'm curious how many people will pick up a Neo. Not sure how many people even own a 4k tv right now, feels like they might actually be trying to stimulate tv sales. Neo may have a similar appeal to the One S in terms of being an affordable 4K player. And Scorpio is promising 4K gaming, so I'm wondering by next year how many people will have made the leap to a 4K tv, while also having the disposable income for a Scorpio which I imagine will be pretty expensive. As for the NX, I'm m...
How is it a fanboy argument, I don't even own a PC yet. I swear to god, anytime someone disagrees with someone on here they call them a fanboy, people can have different opinions without being fanboys, sh*t is ridiculous. To react negatively when I actually didn't say anything negative about the Scorpio, only questioned the breadth of its appeal, didn't say no one would want it, I happen to think it's a cool idea. Just saying I don't think the adoption rate will be as high...
Maybe the excuse will be that creating a vr game takes more work, but no game that is 3-5 hrs long with no multiplayer should be 60 dollars. If that's the excuse, what about in the future when 30-40 hour vr games get released, will they be $120 or something? I don't think so. Obviously people are free to do what they want, but it's stupid of Crytek to think that people will won't be turned off by that pricepoint. I think they and other developers are taking advantage of the fa...
