"Polish is overrated"? Pathetic. If you like the game, fine. Perfect score? Come on. Not even clever enough to realize that that will make anyone with a brain not click on his review. Ironically a review for zombies desperately searching for someone to validate their purchase. How desperate are these reviewers. Sad.

Say what you want about "people don't play it for the single player", but the single player has always been a flashy tutorial of sorts that provided something of a narrative framework for why the locations and weapons in the multiplayer were what they were. What makes this black ops, just that it's similar weaponry and movement to previous black ops? At this point why not just have it be Call of Duty, and run it like Overwatch or something. It would be a game as a service su...

I'm sorry literally every less than glowing review is someone dinging it for the combat. The combat is awesome, you just suck f**king d**k at gaming. It's challenging but fair, takes work to really master but once you do it's incredibly satisfying. Tired of s**t gamers getting to review games. Like some of the videos of people from Polygon and such trying out new titles, I've seen six year olds with more skill. In the immortal words of every gaming jackass ever, "git gud&...

Unless they've been completely hiding some awesome exclusives that are in development (which would be stupid because they really need that hype given their current status), I don't expect much. I think they will invest in more exclusives moving forward but anything they begin work on now won't be ready til next gen most likely. So I expect to see more smoke and mirrors (premiere exclusive etc.etc.) and perhaps some purchased exclusives. And an overhype of BC and some exclusive ind...

I want them to pull their sh!t together. Same as I want Nintendo to. (And to be fair Nintendo seems to be starting to) But they're kinda going down that same route and seem to be willingly blind to what people are asking for. Made a big deal about putting out the most powerful console, but the most visually appealing exclusive game they showed was the Ori sequel. State of Decay, Crackdown 3, and Sea of Thieves don't really look that impressive on XOX. Metro and AC Origins looked nice ...

Gettin really tired of Nintendo acting like they're the only developer that focuses on fun. Cuz yeah we play all these other amazing non Nintendo games out of sheer masochism and self hatred.

Where exactly are people gettin this idea that Metro is a timed exclusive. All it's said before the trailer during the conference is that it was the world premiere meaning only that it was the reveal. Then the developer said they didn't believe in exclusives. Also that the demo wasn't running on an actual Xbox One X but on a PC of "comparable" specs. Every bit of info I'm finding says it releases on Xbox, PlayStation and PC in 2018. I'd love to see any kind of l...

Far cry 3 was awesome. Far Cry 4 is pretty much a waste of time. Far Cry Primal showed some innovation I'll give them that. It just kills me that we've gotten like 3 Far Crys and like 4 Assassins Creeds since the last Splinter Cell. And even more since prince of persia. When I saw they were doing something called Skull and Bones, I was like awesome, a pure pirate game. Had hopes that it might have some pirate fantasy elements. But no, it's just another multiplayer cash grab, did ...

Oh so great. Yet another year with no Splinter Cell or Prince of Persia, but oh joy they ripped the ship combat from Black Flag and are gunna try to sell it as its own game, how innovative. And as exciting as it is that they're doing Beyond Good and Evil 2, we have no idea what gameplay is like or how far it is in development, from what he said it sound a long way off. Completely burnt on Assassins Creed and Far Cry, same game with tweaks, makes me sad, used to love Ubisoft, now they'...

One of the most ill informed opinions I've ever seen on this site. Rockstar is a juggernaut in both game quality and review scores. Ubisoft has been churning out copy paste BS for years now. Used to love them, but no new Splinter Cell, Beyond Good and Evil, or Prince of Persia for years and in the meantime how many uninspired Assassins Creeds and Far Cry?

In terms of the mechanics, it would work if you played as a Native American character fighting cowboys and shit. The mechanics are already there for the bow, throwing knives, tomahawk would be easy enough to implement. And of course the guns. Take control of stage coaches, horses, incorporate Native American entheogenic drug use, vision quests etc. maybe some sympathetic animal abilities a la Primal. It's could work, and the native perspective and first person gameplay might differentiate...

Dumb question but does one million sales in this context mean revenue or number of copies sold?

I like Jim Sterling a lot, and I know it's his opinion which is relative. But a 2, seriously dude? That denotes a game that is broken almost to the point of being non-functional. And it's simply isn't. I hate to say it but I feel like he may have gotten a taste for the spotlight after the Zelda review fiasco. Kinda sad cuz I mostly enjoy the Jimsquisition

Before they got reassigned Sledgehammer was working on a CoD Vietnam war spinoff. I don't play CoD, but if they were to go back and use their assets to make a Vietnam game I would probably buy it. WW2 has been done to death, but Vietnam was a effed up, much more ambiguous conflict that really hasn't gotten enough attention in gaming, way more potential for a twisted, very adult campaign. That would catch my interest. Wolfenstein sated my desire to kill Nazis for the forseeable future....

The article isn't really about sex or sex scenes, it's about the differing level of detail and care put into the different characters romance storylines. And for most fans of Biowares games that a significant part of what sets their series apart from other big rpgs.
