Deus Ex was really great I agree but graphically it was average at best, Crysis 2 was overrated from beginning to end in every way.

Surprise surprise, the festering Sony fanboy pit that is n4g has alot of people agreeing that Halo 4 is a 5.5...For the record it's excellent so far.
For me it's clearly the best Halo since Halo CE, at the very least it's better than Reach, it shows how broken Metacritic is really.

I agree with you, it was a very poor sequel to a great first game, I really don't care now if they make a third one and payed dlc that should of made it into the vanilla game (they admitted to cutting at least one third of the game before launch and it shows very badly) is an insult.
It was dethroned by DarkSouls imo, those that are saying it was dethroned by the linear setpiece driven Indiana Jones wannabe 6 hour game that is Uncharted 2 are incredibly lol worthy, yeah it was pretty but it's like comparing Schindler's List to The A-team.
Saying that, for me Mario 64 was always the better game and Halo CE had a bigger impact on me too.
Considering both the new Star Wars trilogy and the last Indiana Jones film were meh I hope Disney do change LucasFilm tbh.
Yeah I loved the first but the second was meh, I can't say I care for a third anyway.

It's a good idea, I hope Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed also has a story. My fave kart-racing game ever is still Diddy Kong Racing because of it's excellent sp experience and hubworld.
I hope it does well as the team behind it have spent 8 years on it but it has to be said, the game looks graphically horrible, I know it's pre-alpha but unless the game goes through a quantum leap in graphical quality I wouldn't care how big or rng it is because who wants to spend hundreds of hours in such an ugly world? Minecraft has it's retro charms visually but this looks like it it should of come out a good few years before wow which is 7 years old now...
