To me they haven't made a game worth buying yet, the new Metal Gear may change that but I'll make a judgement when I play the demo.

Yeah I got about an hour past the tutorial stage, I may go back to it but so far it's painfully bad next to the last rpg I played, Dark Souls.
Maybe the story is good but I'm much more about combat and exploration (I like a good story but this game doesn't understand good pacing at all), it's combat is atrocious and clunky so far and there's no sense of exploration whatsoever, just linear area after another with constant and annoying interruptions, bad lip...
The Witcher 2 really didn't impress me, ok I only played it for 3 hours because it was so boring (and I felt ripped off even though I payed only £4.99 on a steam sale), but still, the world was quite good looking technically but with lots of horrible bugs, a horribly static world that you cannot interact with (invincible barrels ftw) and a generic art style (seriously did they get a blind person to design that dragon?!).
I was honestly far more impressed with a pleth...
The trailer is clearly not possible yet, it might not even be possible next-gen, I don't understand how anyone could think the finished game looks better (as good looking as it is).
Lol you think the game looked better than the cgi trailer... I figured some fanboys would still be in denial...Also Sony had to show target footage (as misleading as it was) because the game would of been very early in development duh!
I hope you are right about being able to use the controller but where did you hear that? I've read lots of articles and they all say it's exclusive to Kinect.
Edit: Yeah I'm pretty sure you made that up tbh, the game is Kinect only I'm afraid, count me out. Child of Eden was horrible controlled with the Kinect, game breakingly horrible.

Yeah you're right MoP was better than Cata as expansions go but only a little, the continent of Pandaria itself was generic and dull honestly and the same old quests and dungeons etc are so boring now, for someone like me that has played since launch day of vanilla wow.
Unless they add features that are as game changing as flying mounts or a world that's as well realised as Outland or Northrend or a villain as iconic as the Lich King then...
Whatever it is, it needs to be a hell of a lot better than Pandaria, I lost interest very very quickly this expansion, the game just feels so stale and old hat now, so nothing less than a revolutionary expansion would bring me back again.
Personally I hope that they announce Project Titan and that it's a StarCraft mmo, as if the rumours are correct it might in fact be a spinoff of a current ip instead of a truly new ip like Blizz said.

You are wrong about Microsoft, they make more from Office than Windows and almost half again from server and tools, they would be fine without Windows albeit 1/3 less the company they are now.
Saying that, I predict some choppy years for Microsoft in the future if they continue to keep their eggs in 3 to 4 baskets (although exactly the same could be said for Apple).

It was a good game but Outland and Shadow Complex were better. For me although it had sweet gfx and fun combat, I still felt a little ripped off at the end of it because of how short it was, it should have been 800msp not 1200msp.
I really tried to like this game but the whole time reverting back to the beginning gimmick really wasn't fun.

Exactly, I can't believe people are still raving about such a small and linear game, yeah it was beautiful but that does not make it goty material (maybe artstyle of the year). Dark Souls, now that's a game worth raving about for years to come.
I hope they put the dlc on special offer for those that have already bought the game.
Opinion/twist whatever... All I know is that whatever Miyazaki is working on I'm sure it will be worth the wait and the worst that Dark Souls 2 could be is still better than no sequel, so I'm optimistic about both projects.
I don't want a Demon Souls sequel, you made another assumption! I'm just saying that Miyazaki may of stepped aside himself or may have been asked to step aside in a positive context, because he is now highly esteemed inside and outside the company.
He may have been given free reign to do what he wants after making two excellent games with a relatively low budget that went on to sell very respectfully.

There are alot of assumptions made in you comment. For all we know Miyazaki may have stepped aside to make a new Souls game (or something similar) himself that isn't a direct sequel and so could be far more ambitious and not stagnant as I know he's worried this will happen.

I was the biggest Sega fanboy I knew back in the day but after the MegaCD/32X/Saturn/Dreamcast disasters I won't be burned again, I hope they become a videogame powerhouse again though.
