Same way if you bought ps3 more than 3 months back for you to enjoy rumble you have to buy Rumble controller and if you bought 20gb version and you have more than 10 games you 'd require to buy new hard drive.
IF you guys leave your hatered for MS and 360 you'll realize that its a sweet deal to get to play really cool games off the bat. If any of you are real gamers you, wouldn't want to miss playing bioshock, halo3, ME, Gears and upcoming exclusives. Regarding the RROD its just a lame excuse as the newer iterations of 360 are less prone to RROD and of course are getting 3 years warrant for that. I"m happy for almost 2 years with my replacement/fixed 360 and not gotten any other issue from it....

The only people concerned about their privacy are the ones leading dual life or doing something unethical. I was earlier working in with accounting software vendor company. Their software could let us get info about the accounts of any company using our software and connecting online. So you'd be naive to know the O/S in your computer, the antivirus software, the spy blocking software etc will not be leaking out info about ur system/activities.

Well i think all countries have done tortures and experimentations on prisoners, political rivals etc at one time or another. So you can't point out japan for this just cause they have documentary out? I have seen footage of prisoners with hands tied up together getting shot point blank and some having their throats cut while they scream like wild animals. All these fandroids talk about old gen dvd9 blah blah and not consider that the gpu in ps3 sucks with just 256mb and cell taking the other 256 mb. No wonder the graphics on 99% multiplats suck on ps3. IF you want next gen then have a gpu with 1gb dedicated and with dx10.1 support. Cell+BD does not a good game make however a good bdplayer it will make.

I have set my 50" HDTV on the max supported rez of 1080i. My 360 screen settings is also 1080i. I play all my games at these settings without any problems. The visuals look amazing with gorgeous textures and colors. I dont need to fiddle around with RGB settings or anything so why should i care what rez is the game originally designed for? I think all 360 games have 1080i support mentioned at the back of the cover.

Unlike you single console owner n00bs MS is not petty when it comes to building support for any format under the sun in order to maxamise its sales. Good point jspc had there been no consoles from MS these sony lovers would not be crying foul for anything MS. Most of them were not even born when Sony started notebooks with Windows. DD is being used more and more for movies and music. BD will mostly be used in windows for backing up, storage and watching movies. ONly in last 1-2 years have games started coming on DVDs for pcs and when were DVDs launched?
