I think Grid has raised the bar both in graphics and damage modeling. Any game has to be atleast upto par with this game even if it having more realistic simulation. No point in driving ps2 looking game with realism. For that we can play LiveforSpeed or sumthing on pc.
Great news, things are starting to come up on xbox front. WE'll see whats more instore for 2009. Sony has their big guns this year hope MS can counter as well.
Based on sony fanboys including their multiple accounts i think it will out sell Halo3 sales. In reality it might not be the case. We already know the most hyped game of last year MGS4/LBP although great games failed to justify the sales numbers based just on N4G users comments.
If this game comes (not future update) with realtime damage to both body and handling then I will pick this will make me pick up a ps3 in 2010 when the game comes out.

SOny needs to make PS2 killer first. Their hardware sales are pathetic compared to competition. Games will not sell system unless its within reasonable price range and ps3 is most expenseive with the least amount of software. Yea, wii has $hit quality games but still average joe does not care if there are more AAA titles on ps3 than wii. When he finaly decides to go for a console, he will see the shelf for games and price. Neither of which ps3 has an advantage over 360 or wii. Devs are jumpin...
Dont know about your issue since i dont understand trophies concept. Achievements are so simple to grasp. Theoratically each achievemnt can be rated from 0 - 1000 (1000 if the game has only one achievment). There are easy ones, hard ones, extremely difficult ones, middle ones etc and can easily be quantified by a number.
Lets say we get 100gs for completeing a level, and killing a big boss is 35gs, and killing him without losing a life would be another 20gs. SO how do trophies...
Damn, PS3 is not catching a break this gen. Of all things tt's been likened to TItanic by CNN. Man there should be case study about how the big fall. Sony should join the ranks of Commodore, Exxon, IBM, Daewoo, 3DFX, Palm etc.

Where there is smoke there is fire, so why all these companies including CNN, Times etc saying ps3 is not doing well, there has to be come evidence right? And everyone except die hard sony lovers know that situation for ps3 is not looking as rosey as a year ago.
Bored already. You didnt seem to be bothered about last 8 months of RROD, 360 tanking worldwide, MGS4, R2 ,Socom, LBP all million system selling games will kill 360 this year. U can enjoy all negative news about 360 in past news on this site.
