Hmm... I shall wait and see. Some of those screenshots are, as someone else put it, worlds apart.
The only ones that I think would fool someone into thinking these photos are from real life (and not a videogame) are the third to last one, or the last one.
But maybe I'm just saying that because I've seen too many similar shots of this game already. lol

I've gotta say this: everyone's excitement about this game has finally gotten to me (in a good way).
And it's weird because I had never played a driving/racing simulator game. That is, until today.
Because of all the hype going on, I pulled out my dusty copy of Forza Motorsport 2 that came with my Xbox 360 three years ago... I hadn't even opened the darn thing, but I thought I'd give it a go, and get a taste of the genre.

I don't think God of War III is a boring game. Can't say I'm a fan, but it's one of those games where the [overused] term 'epic' actually applies.
Kratos on the other hand... yeah, I think he's pretty dumb.
I don't think I'm pumped for any 2011 games.
I'll get some of 'em, but I won't be excited until their releases draw near.
It does make me smile thinking about playing the next Zelda, though...
I'm a big fan of FPS and have considered getting MAG, but never got around to it.

After playing the beta, I do think that it will be a better game than Killzone 2... but that's not saying much.

It just doesn't look like water to me. More like big puffy smoke billows. It doesn't look right.
Actually, that might be what it is, but it's hard to tell because of the video quality.
I've seen proper high definition footage and the difference in these videos might make you think it's an entirely different game (if you're like me and don't know any better).
The cars look great nonetheless. :)
I'm more interested in some of the games the article listed: God of War 3, Modnation Racers, and Heavy Rain. I missed out on them earlier this year (busy with another console).
I've tried to learn to enjoy and appreciate racing/driving simulators, but to no avail.

I'm just now entering into the driving/racing simulator scene.
As of now, I only have Forza 2, and with the way things are going down right now...
I'm going to go pick up Forza 3, before I get GT5.
Edit: Well, in my defense, Forza 3 will be cheaper. Give me a break. I'd be a fool to pass up on GT5.
