um, What is wrong with journalists today? stop trying to take the moral high ground when in reality, we ALL use games to commit fantasy violence, and to say that one form is wrong while another is ok is pure hypocrisy.

the 360 is cheaper than the wii, but the wii is selling 2:1 to the 360, or "crushing" it

Edge has always ignored Metacritic, and tells it's readers "if you focus on numbers you missed the point" however what Metacritic has done is kept track of Edge's reviews, and now Edge has to be accountable for those reviews.
So basically, now that Edge is aware of Metacritic and record keeping, it wants to tell the readers that "Metacritic" is what's ruining the industry, and not some troll haven for ps3 hate.

this has nothing to do with not being 10/10
this has everything to do with a 7/10 and constantly being lower on ps3 game scores
the truth hurts you guys bad. ive never seen this many 360 fanboys this upset.
sorry to point this out, but you have to compare those numbers to Metacritic averages for each platform.
Metacritic 360 games = 73.79
Metacritic ps3 games = 76.78
So it looks like Edge is trying to bring down the Metascore or ps3 games with consistently lower reviews.
I could start a review site and ps3 games could be 8.9 and 360 games could be 9.0
but if i only reviewed 1 ps3 game and 100 360 games, that comparison is worthless...

they are 10.5 points lower than the metacritic for ps3 games
they are 7 points lower than the metacritic for 360 games
7/10.5 = 30%
so it's not misleading, its just a percentage. helps if you can do math.
