The main thing about this article it pointed out about territories and cultures, but the main thought I liked about it was HISTORY.
gamers, particularly X-BOts, don't know gaming history, or that there are other nations outside the U.S., Sony will prevail again.
I think the timing would be right. Several good games are set to launch with in the next few months.
Sony will probably drop the price sometime in March.
If this does occur then we can assume it's because of Blu-Ray's recent victory.

only in the U.S. buddy, I'm assuming you're an X-Bot because you'd know that OUTSIDE the U.S. PS3 has been constantly outselling the 360. The problem with X-BOx fans they ignore the numbers outside the U.S. because they fear the truth.
Wii's momentum is already been slowing down since Summer of 2007 when the PS3 dropped in price for the first time, and it will continue to slow, this time next year, PS3 will be bitting at Wii's heals

This is only the beginning of good things for Sony
PS3's competitor is also the PS2, much like when the PS2 launched it's competitor was the PSOne. There's several good games still coming out for the PS2. There aren't a lot of people who are willing to pay $400 for the PS3 just yet when you can still get a really good system with an ass load of games for just $130. This is why the PSOne lasted for so long. There were a lot of good games then, and there weren't many people willing to pay $300 for a PS2 then.

Its already started, 360 is long dead in Japan, and now Wii and PS3 are neck and neck...PS3 is growing in Europe and catching up in the U.S. It's all good, 2008 is Sony's year.
This whole thing is blown out of proportion, but I guess that Sony fans have to vent their pent up anger. We've taken our fair share of crap when the PS3 launched.

X-Box has already lost a lot of steam in Europe, it never even had a chance in Japan. A console cannot win the war with only one market (U.S.) '08 is Sony's year, X-Box's lead won't mean a thing come this time next year. Just like the HD-DVD and Vista, X-Box will go down hard. We're already seeing it.
You would think that given FF's history with the PlayStation name they would have learned by now that when their game launches so do the system sales. People are waiting for this title to buy a PS3, they shouldn't wait. People are impatient as it is.
