This article is beyond ridiculous.
Especially about the friends list, all everyone talks about is how BAD the Wii friends management is with it's codes and lack of games that actually have online play.
PS3 has a very good online interface, several online games. Wii has none of that, it's a disgrace.
The 360, ofcourse, is the pinacle of online game play. If anything, the Wii needs to follow Sony, fix everything that is serious lacking on their console, get the online...

This year will probably the year when most PS2 owners will cross to the next gen on the PS3 because of the familiar franchises coming out this year. Such as Grand Turismo, Metal Gear Solid 4, GTA IV and potentially God of War III.
Same thing with the PS2, it didn't start selling well until it's second year here in the states when Grand Turismo 3 and Metal Gear Solid 2 were released.

probably because they see that Wii games don't sell unless they're first party titles. This stupidity can only last so long.
You can't think about video games without having the name PlayStation come to mind. The Playstation brand is still a very powerful brand. Microsoft has yet to prove itself. The 360 has come close, but with all those problems, and we all know what they are, they've only fallen backwards. Sony is the name to beat, brand loyalty is still Sony's best hand plain and simple.
The people who are hatin' it in Japan are probably the same people who are buying the Wii Fit. No explanation it just is.

Depends on the game.
WarHawk went for like $40 on the PSN, which I think is a fair price.
But games like Stardust HD or FLOW were priced like $10 because they're relatively short simple games, again a price point I found to be fair.
People who are still buying HDDVD players and discs are the real idiots here. It's like going out and buy laser dics in 1999, or beta max's in 1990 or VHS after 2000.

Do you know how stupid it is to buy a player for a dead format? They could offer a 100 HDDVD movies, it's not worth it because there will be NO MORE content after that.
