I agree dirtypimp. I think the most likely think is the kinect not being required anymore. Something like that must have been hardware based at the least. So they're probably altering them so the XB1 will work without kinect plugged in.

If you know about HBO Go not only does it stream all of its shows but it also shows you the new episode an hour before it airs on HBO. I'd say that's better than cable because you dont have to wait around and set a timer or DVR. You'll never miss a show and you get it sooner. I don't know if it'll be like that Though.
Sony has 20 first party exclusives while MS has 15
@the_infected- maybe in the US and UK but I would think its easier to to have an HDMI IN considering how cable companies vary around the world. Great new none the less.
Be smart people. They know if they said there'd be a $399 kinect less bundle later no would buy them at launch.

They weren't prepared. The Xbox one is a reaction to the Feburary PS4 reveal, I mean they delayed the original reveal....you don't even need a working console to do a reveal since its all concept. So to me that mean they didn't have a clear vision of what the XB1 was going to be and rushed it out in order to keep up with Sony. Now it seems they're not only having yield issues but also hardware.
Everyone that I know with kinect (Wii/move) never uses it anymore.
