Nobody is saying X1 is difficult to develope for, but it is more difficult than PS4. PS4 is using simpler architecture and Sony always has better tools hence the reason why Sony exclusives blow away everything on xbox.
I'm waiting on the game that does something nobody ever considered before and blows peoples minds.
AMD in every PS4 and X1, they are doing ok at the moment.

No need for a remote? Everyone I know who is dumb enough to pay outrageous cable bills has a DVR, if you plan to record or playback recorded shows then you'll need your cable remote BC X1 can't do that for you.
Not on 360. It used DVD storage and Kinect requires too much programming for controls so you might get controller plus voice. But you couldn't have full Kinect controls and controller mapping. X1 being BD could change this though.

Not to mention even North America is leaning more towards PS4 this time around. I prefer Sony but have friends and family who own 360, yet only one person I know plans to buy X1.

That's not how it works in the real world. The price and exclusion of the camera was set well before M$ pooed down their legs at E3.

The winds of change are blowing. However there is a contract in place concerning the DLC which must expire first. Now if the PS4 continues to outsell and Activision allows that contract to expire, then there will be little to argue about as far as which console is doing better.. So we shall wait and see how things pan out.
