I've been waiting for a decent discount before repurchasing GTA:V for my PS4. I'm in the states and not dropping $60 for a game i already beat.
I play it here and there. I have friends on PSN who play nothing but Destiny. I also know several people at work who play it on X1, like it's their religion, like it's the only thing available lol.
More games than any other current gen console.
Sorry about your luck because mine is quiet as a mouse. I only hear mine on the rare occasions I shut it down and that might be because the tv is quiet lol.
Overheats like crazy? Mine is on most of the time and never once has it ever overheated (I don't even have central air/air conditioning)
10 hours of gametime a week early or a better overall game a week later? Considering PS4 has the upperhand with superior 3rd party multiplats and marketing rights to SW: Battlefront. The place to play SW: Battlefront is a no brainer (hint, it's not on an Xbox).
I use to do this on PS3 with GH:WT. Just plug in mic as player 2.
PS3 used 7 controllers and it was nearly useless. Party games, top down racers, bowling and a few others used this feature. Why buy that many controllers when 90% of the games using this feature work just fine passing 1 controller around the room?
Nintendo had plenty of $80 games on the SNES. FF2 (FF3), FF3 (FF5), Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid, Spiderman and pretty much all AAA games on SNES were $80 on day 1.
Neo-Geo games were $200 new. Nintendo went to discs because they new if they stuck to cartridges it would force them to sell games for $100 per game due to increased memory requirements, they seen how high prices stopped Neo-Geo from going mainstream even though Neo-Geo was a superior console in its day.

I personally jump straight into MP, but I do complete SP eventually.
I haven't experienced any serious lag other than a couple matches since the beta begun, till tonight. Wanted to play for a while before work, but it's nearly unplayable at the moment. Hopefully it's running smoother when I get off work so I can enjoy it more before they shut it down.
Good, I'm a 3rd shifter and work nearly every night. Between work and sleep I'm only lvl 28 and i was hoping to reach the lvl cap.

Unless delayed at the last minute Horizon is scheduled for a 2016 release. And it's ok if you don't see anything in it because I have yet to see anything (all exclusives combined, current and announced) to justify buying for myself.
I suspect there will be some new announcements at TGS and PGS for new games. However, I think the bigger announcements (games/system software update ) will be done at PSX in December.

The 360 released a year before the PS3, yet it ended up in last place bc the much much more expensive PS3 dominated sales the entire generation.

If they knew what the DLC would consist of, it would only enrage the Internet even more. Seriously, people would swear Bethesda cut content from the core game and called it DLC.
And for those complaining about Bethesda announcing a season pass. Season passes are not the square root of evil, and if you don't wan't it then don't buy it. However, season passes are for those who plan to buy all the DLC for a game, it allows you to bundle all the DLC at a cheaper rate ...
