On SNES most AAA games were $80 including FFII, FFIII, Donkey Kong, Batman, Spiderman etc... And I Still bought them new day one.
Neo-Geo games were $200 new, hince one huge reason the platform stayed niche and disappeared.
I've always wanted VR since I was young. However, I prefer gaming on consoles so Oculus was never never for me. PSVR is exactly what I've waited for and I'll happily purchace it even if it's $350 or more.
This old house 2016: hololens edition. Woot woot /s
Xbox has AR Hahaha
Bubble up for well said
@Benchmark
Oh yeah it piad off for M$, the Xbox division remains in the red while their biggest competitor enjoys a nearly 2:1 lead this gen. Maybe next gen they'll be green, in the lead, and force their anticonsumers policies onto the uninformed. Then they can themselves on the backs.
@neonridr
I speak of how I personally feel and if the public at large felt as you do then X1 would be doing much better than it is.
@ZanderZane
Most of my personal friends are on PS4 while work colleagues are 2/3 in favor of X1. Now while I've never personally met anyone who traded in their PS4 for X1, I have met a couple people who went from 360 to X1 just to trade up for PS4, and nobody I know owns both. No one game is worth buying a c...
Who is mad? Sony is doing very well with the PlayStation brand, whereas Xbox is a hemorrhage in the eyes of the M$ board. How many generations will M$ continue funding a division that loses them money? Their board will surely continue talking a lot about selling in the coming years. And yes Phil is doing great and he is very optimistic, but if Phil doesn't stop the hemorrhage then eventually M$ will cut their loses and sell Xbox and it's debt.
Hahaha that hilarious
That improbability drive has higher odds of turning the ship into a red giant and killing everyone onboard than X1 has catching up to the PS4.
And yet with all they are doing and their exclusives they are coming out with, there is no reason for me to own a X1. Everything combined and I still feel X1 is wasted money as a consumer. Which is why they won't catch up, because the public at large feels similar.
The Xbox brand has never been profitable which is why M$ has debated many times about selling the Xbox division, and rich vultures line up to buy it in hopes of turning it around.
No worries though, rich vultures have also been pleading with Sony to incorporate the PlayStation brand to make a hostile takeover possible through stock ownership.
I find your nonexistent grasp on reality hilarious hahaha. The Xbox division does not make money so they rely on windows and other products.
Paying off very well for Sony. Whereas it landed M$ in 3rd/last place last gen.
I'm already on PS4 and been needing a second PS4. After Christmas I may very likely pick this up.
@jake
I'm sure x1 has some decent games. Though X1 has nothing I'm interested in, nothing to be jealous of, and certainly nothing warrant buying a X1. Go enjoy your purchace little buddy and never forget about that lil' train that thought he could.
P.S. I realize you're a bit salty but please control yourself because foul language looses bubbles.
You're technically correct. TTK kicked off Destiny year 2 or as you stated 2.0. No matter how many people think it's just DLC, this "expansion" upgraded the game to the next entry of Destiny.
I never have these so called down times
Not one inch?
I can prove you wrong by mentioning only one single firmware feature added to PS4 that blows everything added to X1 meaningless... SharePlay!
Enough said... Go replace your broken ruler.
Most/all of the AAA games being current gen only would likely motivate most gamers to upgrade IMO.
