i know polyphony usually takes time with GT but right now i want the final product and dont want more updates since they take alot of time. everything people are complaining about will be fixed, and i know that there will be even more that will blow us all away, but 2010 is too far away.
why change something that already works great?
i have a ps3 and a wii
my wii is for galaxy, zelda:TP, brawl, and metroid
its interesting though b/c those games are absolutely amazing so i would like to see how things would change if they focused on hardcore-but i dont play anything else on it other than what i said and a couple of vc games...
having a ps3 and a wii is perfect for me since i get my favorite exclusives though
lol R1 which "sucked" took more than 9 gigs, and it was a launch title. the fact that bluray has alot of space gives develepors more incentive to add more content (we will see alot of this in the future) plus this means uncompressed sound more visual detail and the list goes on. develepors dont want to have multiple discs so they will add more features on the bluray disc b/c they can

story:R2-comon, epic wont deliver in this area, just as they've never have. R2 will deliver though.
graphics:Gears2-this one is hard. The character models in G2 look better but R2 offers large environments and large scale battles, and who knows insomniac might surprise everyone like R&C:ToD (which is the third best looking game out there btw). But as of now Gears wins visually hands down.

i dont know how this war will play out... Nintendo IS doing very good so far but how many more ideas can they come up with? Wiifit was new but Wiimusic?! Comon Nintendo. I can only play the 4 good games they have for so long. Also, who knows how long casual gamers will buy into the wii when they get alot more out of other systems. what are you saying?? the game is nearly 27 hours (thats how long it took me...) absolutely half are cut scenes and the rest is gameplay. Really you would know that if you played it. Judging by your comment I understand that you dont like it, and you are entitled to your own opinion, but that dosent make it any less of an amazing game and definitely one of the best games this generation. I'm just saying that even though you dont like it, you really have to respect it for being a good game.
this is a random question (as i read some of the comments...), but why is the length of MGS4's gameplay hours an issue when there are fantastic titles like Gears of War and Uncharted that dont have alot as well???

It would be awesome if SE did it. Whether they do it right of wrong it WILL be a system seller- just not as big as GT5. Thats the biggest system seller the ps3 has. Too bad its not coming out until 2010...

I'd much rather have a universal network where I can play COD4 on my ps3 with my friend who has a 360 (I only have a ps3 and a wii...). I know it won't happen but IMO with a universal console we wouldn't see new ideas...

every ps3 owner shouldn't worry about games(MGS4). Besides the whole issue of ps3 not having any games worth the purchase instantly ended when team ico announced that their working on a new game. that alone should be a reason to buy 10 ps3s...

lol did you not understand my comment. Why would you want nintendo to change the mechanic of the legend of zelda franchise when it already works? innovating is good but there is always a risk to it. So if nintendo dosent change their franchises drastically thats not a bad thing. the game will still be amazing if they do it right. thats what i was saying. consoles are whole different thing...
