I think there is a place for both consoles. They go in different directions, which is great for gamers.
The race has just started. We can't tell whether Sony's or Microsoft's strategy has worked out well yet. Anyone can expect that a console launch will be successful. What matters is what will happen in years to come.
I don't see myself and millions of console gamers switching to iOS & Android primarily for gaming no matter how cheap their hardware/games can be.
If you want to play angry birds on your 50" screen, all I can say is have fun.
So what if they give us a physical controller and say you can play upscaled mobile games on your TV ? Even if the games are free or a dollar, there is and always will be a space for console quality gaming in the living room...
I recently got GOW Ascension for $22. I passed up on the opportunity to get GOW Saga for $10... I love my Vita a lot but it's outrageous to pay $40 for GOW collection. If it was $20 or even $30, I would be okay but $40 is asking too much.
You are better off buying Tearaway if you haven't already or go get Rayman Legends for only $18 on PSN.
As a franchise Infamous has never been the system seller. I have played Infamous 2 and it's great. Loved it. Can't wait for the second son.
Destiny hasn't given me anything to be excited about, so I will wait and see.
I am excited about the Titanfall. The only problem might be the hype it's getting. The expectations are already set high for it and I hope it doesn't disappoint.

I have had a Vita for year and I am happy with it. The game library is getting better each month and the remote-play future makes Vita a must-buy for gamers...
I hear you. I don't want to waste time waiting for games to get discounted. If it's similar to Steam's like every 8 hours etc, I would be ok with that
I refuse to sell my games to EBGAMES/gamestop. They literally make more than a billion dollars in a year by selling off used games.
I have done it once and regret it. You can make much more money by selling your games somewhere else.
Used games are needed but when one company monetizes it by ripping everyone, then there is a problem.
It's just sad Dice has to work for EA.
2K and Ubisoft would be a better fit
This game won't sell millions like COD , Fifa, or GTA not even 500k
But I will tell you this. From the minute I started playing the demo, I just smiled with sense of satisfaction and joy.

Even if there is a 100 broken x-box one who cares ? There WILL BE defective consoles, you can't just expect a launch without issues. And don't make it a big issues like others did at ps4 launch. At the end of the day only 1% of the consoles were fucked out of more than a million at ps4 launch!!

I am PS fan but I am hoping Xbox one fans have a great launch.
I am excited to see what Xbox one can do down the road with it's superior multitasking features.
lol even though I am getting a PS4, there is no launch game that wows you...Second Son or Uncharted might fill that gap though

Here is where I stand on my future with Vita. I spent about $ 500 on the console and games in less than a year...Thanks to my Vita, I have learned to appreciate the beauty and creativity of indie games. Thus, I will always welcome indie games on my Vita
On the other hand, I am getting a PS 4 and tried out the remote play, which is freaking fantastic. It'll be really tough for me to spend $40 on Vita titles and ignore $60 PS4 games ( which can also be played on my Vita ). ...
Remote Play is awesome !!! Played BF 4 and it just works. It takes time to get used to but once you do, you will be impressed...
I enjoyed GT5 but I don't see any reason why I should buy this one. Don't get me wrong, it seems to be a good game but there is no enough incentive for me to get it now.
I can turn my attention to DriveClub
