You guys didn't want to believe me, but I've been saying for months that gone are the glory days of big huge leaps from generation to generation. It took 20 plus years but gaming has just finally reached that graphical plateu.
Hate on Stadia all you want but they are slowly but surely improving despite overwhelming criticism
Couldn't have said it better myself friend. #CureWorseThanVirus I'm in South Carolina (thank God a red state) and stores like Clothing stores, book stores, department stores etc are re opening this week followed by dine in for restaurants likely in the coming week or two
Wow, what are the odds that three video game voice actors all die in the same week, on top of that, what are the odds that none of them died from covid 19 during the height of a pandemic. It has to be something insane like a 1 in 10 billion odds or something
Rona, or...?
It should, physical discs need to die already.
And people wonder why games just keep getting more redundant and mediocre. People can come on sites like this and throw all their temper tantrums they want, but yet they still buy the games anyway. Devs literally have zero incentive to make games great anymore.
I bought Stadia at launch and was all aboard the hype train but I have given up on it at this point. A clarifying moment came when I was having a new TV installed from best buy, and the Geek squad guy asked me "hey, do you actually need this chromecast ultra, because it's going to get in the way when we mount the TV on the wall?"
It was at that moment when I lied and said I didn't use it because of being ashamed to admit that I actually used Stadia is whe...
I'm 35 and have been a lifelong gamer, I have yet to find a single game that had the emotional impact MGS3 had on me. For me it's literally the greatest video game ever made.
In short? Rushed, cash grab to play off the success of RE2, tried too hard to be "cool" when the unwritten rule when it comes to survival horror is "less is more." Oh and this might not be a contributing factor but Jill was just ugly and unappealing to look at, down vote me all you want but looks and physical appeal do matter when connecting with a character. I don't make the rules.
I must say, I'm shocked at how many people like the dev kit design, it's so freaking ugly and intrusive looking. So much so that when someone says they like it, I can't tell if serious or just trying to be funny. It looks like a failed Sega console from the 90s
I don't care, I absolutely love the look of the dualsense, the two tone looks absolutely amazing
I'm sorry but the whole argument "this game just hits so close to home now given what's going on" is dumb. Hmm a game about a fungus that wipes out 99% of the population, versus a glorified flu (Covid 19) that only actually kills 0.01% of people infected (if you were to test every single American for coronavirusn, the death rate would be 0.001%, an article published yesterday said half, HALF of people won't even develop symptoms!) there is just no comparison. People want...
The demo wasn't my cup of tea, RE2 remake was a masterpiece. But something about the demo for RE3 just felt off. It just felt like it was trying too hard or something.
And so? There are what, like 50 million people that play MW? So 25 million for each, it's all still Activision and Activision would make money no matter what.
This whole thing is just weird and so random, it just feels rushed and like a quick cash grab or something.
This is just the start, in 6 months our only means of entertainment are going to be stage plays at our local parks, i hope all of you played a lot of RDR2 because in 6 months to a year, that's exactly what society is going to be like. You're kidding yourselves if you think this thing is going to go away.
I thought I was crazy for not liking the demo but after seeing some of these reviews, it's making me feel less crazy. RE2 on the other hand was a masterpiece, I'm currently playing it through a 2nd time and I never do that with games.
Something about RE3 I didn't like, almost feels like they were trying too hard to be cool or something. Something just felt off about it
