You and me both! I’m grinding my way through God Of War, Spider Man, Detroit and RDR2. When I play a lot of online multiplayer shooters as well, hard to beat these games!
This is why im a HUGE proponent of VR. I owned a PSVR, was so impressed I sold it and got my first ever gaming PC and Oculus Rift for a full fledged VR experience and let me tell you, I have owned it for 7 months now and I am still amazed everytime I put the headset on and play.
This is NOT a gimmick. For the record, I HATED 3D, I hated it at the movies and at home, was a gimmick that added nothing in terms of immersion.
VR is not the same. It is truly a ...
If you consider dominating by announcing ONE big title that is years away fron release and a car combat/soccer game that has already been out for quite some time on PC and PS4, then sure, I guess you could say "dominated"
For me personally, online MP is my priorty now a days.. Too many single player games, not enough time, they are all similar. I get more from playing 45 minute sessions which typically includes one match in Battlefield 1, one match in Doom, one match in Overwatch, a match in Uncharted 4 and cap it off with a match in Rocket League.
Those are my main go to games right now. I have a few SP games im currently slowly working through like Rise Of The Tomb Raider, Batman Arkham Kn...
Awesome! Definitley getting this on PC so I can play in VR on my Rift. Once you race in VR there is just no going back. So glad this will have VR support day 1
32 years old here, kids, wife, job.. Most of my gaming now is pretty much exclusively online multiplayer or VR. Why? Because they are PERFECT in small pieces at a time.
In the span of 45 minutes I can fire up my PC and get in on a match each of Overwatch, Doom, Gears 4 and BF1 and when im done, cap off the night with some Oculus Rift games and I have satisfied my gaming urges for the day..
Why spend one hour playing one single player game when playing a o...
No, 65 inch. I have Samsung HU8550, the top of the line, 2014 model
I own both the pro and PSVR.. I must say that I feel like I got ripped ofd buying the pro.. Yes, I have a 4ktv but I literally see no difference whatsoever from the regular PS4
Pssh, more like im holding off on buying "flat" games since getting the PSVR.. Owned it since launch and havent touched a flat game since.. Between Rigs multiplayer, the countless races and countless cars to unlock on Driveclub, Battlezone and even shooting ranges on London Heist, I just dont have time for flat games anymore and frankly, they just pale in compariaon to VR games.
SMH, thank god for VR injecting new fun factor and enthusiasm into gaming for me because gaming is getting so damn stale and routine.. I havent even touched a regular "flat" game since getting my VR
Can we please stop with these stupid VR and Matrix comparisons.. Ok yea, "Now feautring the Matrix VR! Blue pill/red pill sold seperatley." lol come on, lets be real here.
Its almost as stupid as saying "I wont drive a regular car, I will just wait until flying cars come out like in Back To The Future." Get back to reality
Can anyone think of any other product like the PSVR that has got overwhelming reviews and 90% or more of people that actually try it were blown away by it but that product ended up failing? Not just in gaming but any product in history.
The closest I can think of is the Vita but even that wouldnt qualify because I dont remember people being neccesiarly blown away by it like they are with VR..
I will say this, as someone who has owned VR since launch, if V...
Ive had my PSVR for 6 weeks and my non VR games are just collecting dust.
Im talking in terms of gameplay and fun factor. This leap in gaming is bigger than going from SNES to N64.. I mean this puts you in the game, im not talking about in a marketing gimmick kind of way, I mean you are IN the game and no longer an outside observer just controlling things like with flat gaming
I have owned the PSVR since launch and I can honestly say its the best thing to happen in gaming since gaming was invented.
Its been 6 weeks and the wow factor just never ceases to amaze me everytime I put on the headset and play. With the exception of Modern Warfare remaster I just cant enjoy "flat games" like I use to after experiencing how amazing VR is
So as someone that owns all three, a Pro, PSVR and a 4k TV, for me personally its a no brainer.. PSVR and its not even close. I will say that I am VERY disappointed in the Pro because I just see no difference whatsoever in the graphics on my 4k TV.
Incase you are wondering, I have a 2014 Samsung 4ktv, top of the line 8550 series, it is not HDR and that could be the problem..
I have owned VR since launch and it is AMAZING. Thankfully im fortunate enough ...
Ofcourse not, its brand new. What brand new console launches with a AAA title like Uncharted from day 1, the closest would be Killzone Shadowfall for PS4.
In terms of overall fun factor and games, I would say the VR launch lineup is on par with the PS4 launch lineup.. Great variety.
You have your hardcore games for the traditional COD type of player like Eve, Battlezone, Rigs and Driveclub..
Then plenty of more softer games for the caus...
Ok so I logged in just to comment on this, first and foremost let me just say I have owned PSVR since launch and it is simply amazing, like it or not, this IS the future of gaming, you will eventually have to get on board or find a new hobby in the next couple years or so.
As someone who hated kinect, hated the move and hated the Wii, I can 100% say that VR is the real deal and the next big thing. Its been hard for me to enjoy regular "flat" games after playing VR...
I know I am in the minority but I still stand behind COD and despite all its flaws the gaming world needs COD like it or not.. It's the only FPS that you can 100% rely on to provide an exceptional MP experience year in and year out.. Don't get me wrong, other multiplayer titles are extremely important but you will be hard pressed to find a game with as much variety, unlocks and high replay value like the COD and like it or not gaming NEEDS COD
Good! Give me a linear, story driven game like God Of War and Uncharted 4 any day! I don’t have time for side quests and roaming open worlds
