As someone who is 35 years old, been gaming since the NES era and up until the PS4 era grew up on physical games, I am VERY excited for Stadia. So let me break it down.
Console life cycle- 7 years
Console costs- $499.99 for the console (PS5 WILL be $499, watch) itself plus $419.93 for PS plus over a 7 year span. Total cost of traditonal console gaming over a console life cycle- $918.00
Does this cost include a streaming service to acc...
I swear to fuking god. EVERY single god damn VR article, even the “positive” ones always start so negative on VR. The first paragraph on this article?! “VR has been a tough sell, people don’t have the playspace and there isn’t any compelling software?”
Like seriously?! Have these media journalist ass hats never played LoneEcho, Astro Bot, RE7, Borderlands 2 VR, SuperHot, Robo Recall, Firewall Zero hour and countless and countless more?!
The MeToo movement is going to turn this country into Saudia freaking Arabia. I bet the porn industry is booming with men just saying to hell with women and dating all together and just having porn be their primary sexual out
So believe it or not I have NEVER played RE4, I am just now playing it on PSNow and so far LOVING the whole woods, Blair Witch vibe. Does it stay like that throughout the game or does it go to a city/indoor setting later?
Like if the whole game takes place in those creepy ass woods and villages it will be perfect!
RE7 was good, my only problem was when it got away from the mansion, I HATED the whole action/ship sequence, it felt so out of place and felt too COD. Should have kept it in the house
I tried to play it on PSnow, as amazing as it seems, I love the setting and atmosphere. The controls make the game unplayable for me. If they simply had an option for more modernized controls, I would be all over this game!
Digital and it’s not even close. Like no joke, with the amount of games I play on rotation, i can’t even begin to imagine getting up each time and swapping discs.
Last physical game I bought was Killzone Shadow fall at PS4 launch. Just bought a 4TB external HDD from Best Buy for $100, best $100 I have ever spent.
NEVER going back to physical. Also side note, a good perk of buying digital is it FORCES you to keep your games. Can’t count how much money I’v...
It’s funny, I was just literally thinking about this moments ago on my way home. Here is how I see it- Death Stranding for sure. Look at Kojima’s last game MGSV, it was on both PS3 and PS4. I also think GTA VI and ofcourse the COD of that year.
I think this gen is so different because the PS4 just has a TON of games and with a ton of online multiplayer games people won’t just quit playing simply because the PS5 is out, Sony knows it has to be a stellar launch line up to lu...
Naa, Aslong as they meet their quota of female characters, no one will care about the violence.
Looks pretty good, a part me kind of wishes that fatalities were more subtle. Like simple MK2 type ones. I just feel they are trying too hard to be too gory and maybe simplicity would be nice
Yep, born in 84 lol. It always seemed like you could always just talk to the GameStop employees about upcoming games and you got the sense they loved gaming and they didn’t hate their job. Was so different back then
As a huge, I mean HUGE MGS fan who thinks MGS3 Snake Eater is the best video game ever made period. MGSV was a GIGANTIC let down. The story was non existent, the interesting boss battles with amazing back stories was non existent, it certainly didn’t have that emotional wow factor like the previous installments.
It was just awful and so disappointing the greatest gaming franchise ever ended on this note
An absolute rip off. First off these can be bought on ebay for several hundred. 2nd of all, notice it says “classic series” on the cover, that indicates it’s not even a first edition, it’s essentially the NES equivalent of PS2s “greatest hits” which aren’t nearly as valuable as first runs.
Having a demo and beta AFTER you pre order is so dumb. “Hey, pre order digitally now and pay the full amount upfront for the ability to test the game later and get no refund if you don’t like it.”
So dumb, didn’t demos use to work the other way? Demo first, THEN buy if you like
GameStop was king in the PS2 era. I remember being 17 and getting my ps2 games there all the time. Having to actually look at the covers and read the back and look at the pics to determine if it looked fun or not.
No annoying, douchey Twitch streamers, no memes or social media, no meta critic and not even N4G to spoil it. Wanted reviews? Better walk up to the counter and skim through magazines like Game Pro and Game Informer. Ahhh the days
Keifer Sutherland alone discredits this entire opinion
Im a founder baby! Have Stadia founders edition pre ordered! video game hoarders who like to buy physical games just to collect them and never play them or people that just LOVE sitting through constant game updates and installations and downloads can have their out of date consoles. Google Stadia here I come baby!!
