I hope they follow this design philosophy with the Xbox moving forward instead of tagging on irrelevant paperweights. What they were able to accomplish with the power size and acoustics is very appealing.

Since the X is getting pretty damn good reviews I might be forced to get a 4ktv. Damn and if PS5 is a ways off I'll have to trade in my og PS4 for the pro :(.

I actually haven't had a noise issue with my og PS4 but glad to hear the X is nice and quiet. I remember my old 360 being loud as hell though.

Behind in specs how? Theirs no other main stream hybrid console out there to compare it to.
It comes out every TWO years so no it's not annual. But the fact that they keep up the quality every two years is pretty impressive.
Video games aren't a charity their a luxury. The price of games has stayed the same yet the costs to develop have gone up. This is one way for developers to close that gap.
