Although RE4 was completely new this doesnt have many new gameplay features from the comparisions people are making about it.Most RE games do fairly well though selling between 2-5 million(5 million being RE 2),and those sale figures are for america alone.

@Metalhead:there have been numurous predictions that show that the bluray wont start selling until 2012-2013.This(from what analyst say) will be about the time people make a huge transition from dvd to bluray....and i dont think people have that bad of an opinion on ps3..its badass.Period, but some people just dont understand how much money it takes to sell one.
I mean think about it..a standalone bluray player is between $500-$800.The ps3 is $400.How is Sony making a profit with...
It will do very well.The Ds game did extremely well(having basic online).This game with more customization,voice chat(optional),and a deeper online will make it a seller.Im not even into the game but at E3 they showed how even if you dont go out of your house for a day,stuff still happens in the city like in real life.Though that was a good idea for the series.People love games where you can customize,interact,and make it your own.Look at the Sims,or even HOme for playstation coming out.this ...
I still cant believe the top 3 wii games(smash,kart,fit) are selling aswell as they are.More surprising then that are how well 2 year old+ ds games are doing.
I know xbox got that price cut they did alright i think they should have beatin sony alittle bit more then that but.........we should still be looking at software sales that is where the profit lies.

Just because the ds is older,it does have alot of games for it though .Ps3 fans seem to forget that alot of sales of the ps3 are towards that of bluray.....just acouple months ago i read an article saying how the the ps3 holds 70% of all bluray players sold......all bluray players......a game system.That says alittle about why the ps3 is selling alot more then xbox but not having as much software sold.Just a thought.

This is my favorite game ever made,well the psx was but this is the enhanced version.Its crazy to see it still being sold for more then new prices.Almost laughable.Glad i never got rid of mine.
This to me is a casual game though..i mean how many puzzle platformer/creation games can be called hardcore.
Watch though this game will be backed by sony lovers who dog casual.I think it will sell because its a new idea though that ill agree with you one,but why people will back this and not wii games is beyond me.
