ps3 will never sell as much as the wii due to the casual appeal...there are more casuals in the world then hardcore.
Until the ps3 becomes a casual name it wont sell asmuch as the wii,and if you guys actually looked at sales for the ps1 and ps2 you would see that they were significantly ahead at this same time,but then again ps1 and ps2 had more casual buyers then the ps3.
Although things could change with LBP.LBP could be the start of something.
its great for wii and to show other developers how it can be....although how are they developing what the ps360 has been doing?this game has better controls,how can xbox or ps3 have that?ps360 games may look beautiful and have online options that are right under that of pc but they have bad controls.Sorry its hard for me to play Halo after i play Metroid.Might look better but the controls are so.......last gen.
agreed i remember when for one there wasnt an internet and two there was gamepro ,nintendo power,and electronic gaming monthly that were your sources of information.Damn i still remember that april fools from electronic gaming monthly about the secret character you had to beat in street fighter 2.Forget his name though.
I like my wii but Nintendo does some stuff that i have to question sometimes.Its calming to see them saying how they will stop making peripherals,and "wii" franchises,and as much as i liek surprises sometimes i hate how nintendo has nothing to say about games in development until practically finished.As much as i have complaints about the wii (storage,add-ons,online,etc.) atleast they are doing something different,which is more then the other two are doing.

LBP wont fail it will prolly be sonys biggest seller due to its casual appeal,and customization.Sony fans would let to think this title isnt casual but look at the photo........you can dress up as Evil Knievel.nuff said.
Its funny because half of the games listed are of casual appeal which will sell due to the fact that the casual audience is bigger then the hardcore.
No genre really changes,if the same formula was messed with there would be a different genre it would be put into.
Not short on quality games,but short of mature themed games or shooters which xbox and ps3 are oversaturated with.
Wii is fun but people overlook this and go straight to the bad.
yes the novelty wore off thats why they still sell 3:1 to sony or xbox.Graigslist and ebay are full of them because people buy them to try to make a profit.
you guys understand how hard it must be to make a 8-bit game when your running with programs that do 1080p?....this game wasnt simple to make.

Ill be getting it for the challenge.Not alot of games have challenging gameplay like they used to.Contra 3 without cheats,megaman games...all brutal.
its 1:1 if your using it as a pointer.The reason why its not one to one has nothing to do with pointing it at the tv it has to do with the wii remotes relationship in 3d space which is done with accelerometers.Metroid is 1:1 for shooting
