There's a reason the Wii version of Ghostbusters is a cartoony cutesy looking game while the PS3/360 version is based on graphical realism with a physics/destruction engine to match: the Wii can't handle these things. The saucer pop game is pretty hardcore. no instructions or anything. I think i played it for 10 minutes before i realized the canisters were fuel.

Lower disc costs! $20, its not that hard. Just make the price comparable to DVD, you will sell tons of both discs and players, and you can charge almost whatever you like for the player! You don't get the truth from these videos, you get a video that looks mostly identical (differences in contrast and saturation aside) on 360 and PS3, and a forum full of PS3/360 owners saying the game looks better on their system. WHY GOD WHY, won't you make these videos stop?! All they do is give fanboys a reason to sound a troll battle-cry and wage war. The differences are TYPICALLY so minimal that even if you could eke out the difference on a 55" TV, there's no way you could differentiate on a lower-than-hd res 20fps streaming video. I'm personally more interested in frame rates/jumps and control issues anyways, and these videos do nothing to dispel those concerns.

This is really disheartening. Three things need to happen:
Sony/MM needs to warn WITH A SPECIFIC REASON before deleting. Give the creator a chance to save their level and hard earned hearts by fixing the problem. It also requires the moderator to play through the level as opposed to just assuming the person who reported the stage isn't just being a sh!thead, or accidentally reported it.

The high revenue/low profit scenario you bring up is an effect of technological evolution. It always happens to some degree when consoles reach their next-generation. The deficit also grows in size with the spec increase. Its a symptom of studios being forced to build new engines, and animation/sound/visual/network /etc techs to fit the new specs.
