I think if you use a VPN, they will not be able to see your real IP address to take over your PC, it wouldn't stop hacking in the game but your real IP will not be shown.
I can but I have 2 monitors, and I'll use one just for my Switch and also for my emulation. Got a used small Dell micro PC just to play thousands of roms.😎
Kind of surprised that a company that's worth this much, there is no Government involvement on why the layoffs are happening so often. Governments need to investigate to really see what's going on. MS is worth $3+ trillion something is not right.
All future gaming events like Gamescom, The Game Awards, DICE, etc. should ban MS and Xbox from trying to attend. Something needs to be done to hurt them so bad that they will think about leaving the gaming industry.
We had 2 console companies years ago, Genesis vs SNES, TG-16 did not make a dent so I only count those 2.
It would be Sony vs Nintendo again, though I can't say what the outcome would be because the Switch 2 is barely more powerful than a PS4 Pro and not directly competing with PS5. But I do not think the price for the PS6 will be $1000, they would be mostly sitting on the shelves. PS6 if it's coming in 2027 I would guess, $600-$700 depends on future tariffs.
I want Xbox and also Nvidia to leave the gaming GPU market. Nvidia can focus on their AI shit and Xbox can just go away. I wouldn't even trust them making or publishing games.
Finally ordered my Switch 2 through Nintendo. Being a PC gamer I will take advantage of 120FPS but going to use my older 360hz 1080p monitor. I save my 1440p monitor for my PC 😂
I said before every dev working now at MS under Xbox should all walk out, thousands just leave in a massive protest. Let's see how that shit bag Phil will handle it.

But for people who want to own their games this is not good at all. As I said I like to buy used physical games off ebay, not some digital key card bullshit. I finally got my Switch 2 notice from Nintendo to buy the Switch 2, I will buy it but, I will be buying much less than what I bought on Switch 1. Only some physical games I will buy.
One thing about the Neo Geo, the games never really went down in price at all, over the years they went up. I'm not buying $80.00+ games I will wait for a price drop and buy used on ebay.
I remember back during the early 90's Neo Geo games were about $200+, back then cart's were very expensive to make and with Neo Geo you had the actual arcade at home. During the N64 era games were about $70+ because again carts cost a lot to make. $80 for a digital game. nah, pass, even physical I would not pay $80 right now.
Nintendo should have made it mandatory, that all publishers/devs. have both physical and digital games for sale or don't bother, will be the message to them. Nintendo has that kind of power now to put their foot down, because the Switch 2 will follow in the Switch 1 success. I personally like to buy used Switch 1 games off ebay, for a much cheaper price. I see myself buying less when I get a Switch 2, because I will only look for physical games.
At this point, I think going forward would be to shun Xbox and MS from anymore gaming events. Companies hosting these events need to step up and tell MS your no longer welcome to our event. The more you hurt Xbox/MS the better for in the industry. Hurting them financially would be the best course of action.
