I hacked mine a few years ago, have 100 DS roms 100 3DS roms and a few thousand roms from the most popular 2D consoles, NES, SNES, GB, GBA, Genesis, etc. etc.
And I still haven't bought one Switch 2 game since I had the console in July. I just bought a few used Switch 1 games off ebay. I will buy Metroid Prime 4 used once the price drops some more, physical copy only. I'm just not feeling Nintendo anymore like I used to.
At least on PC you can just take what you want, and you will own it. And now someone else is trying to crack games with Denuvo. The point is you will own nothing in the future, everything will become all digital with no physical games this is what I'm feeling, so if you stick to PC you can emulate older consoles, and take the games you want. Was hoping it would be a bit higher, the original Metroid Prime got a 9.8 back in 2002. Actually the whole trilogy was in the high 9's from IGN.
I'm sure there will be issues on console, there always is with UE5 games, not as much as PC though. You can bet that Digital Foundry will go in detail on every release and there will be performance issues. I just wish devs would stop using this engine, so many issues with it yet they keep using it.
Shit Engine 5 (UE5) pass. I don't support games using that engine on PC.
