This would be a smart move for game companies and advertisers
its not even that bad in movies
advertisers want to reach the biggest audience possible, so if you can get a bigger audience through a price cut then they'll pay more for the in game ads to reach that market. Price cutting games could at least double the audience of many titles.
who in their right mind would pay 60 bucks for a madden game anymore?
this would be perfect, charge 30 dollars then just put ads in the game like commercial breaks during an NFL game
double post
it should be optional, half price advert version and full price no advert version
These are "short films" of european and canadian origin. Nothing to get hyped about.

The overuse of violence, aka the overabundance of shooters in gaming is one of the reasons Im getting annoyed at the industry. They've gotten lazy, and formulaic. They need to come up with some new ideas.
Early review giving a big name title a perfect score, seems a bit fishy. Early reviewers are often in bed with the companies whose products they get access to before other reviewers.
Fallout 3 looks like a snooze fest. Its oblivion with guns, the combat looks boring since you can freeze time and shoot anywhere you want.
I just signed up for the newsletter. Will it be emailed or what?
i LOVED Dead Rising, but I really hope the sequel isn't episodic. Or I hope they offer a full game option. I want to get a full experience for $60, not a bunch of tiny chunks of gaming for what adds up to less game for more money.
"So, saying I'm cheap because I dont' want to buy into a watered down online mag is about as meaningful as Biden is to us Jews."
LOL wut?
pure looks alright
Someone forget to make a check payable to CNET.
Is awful. I have a decent sized hdtv, but I can already tell Im gonna have to squint my eyes to see #&!*
With guns. Im not too impressed with what I've seen with Fallout 3. The combat doesn't look that compelling, the characters seem cloned from oblivion *no facial expressions for a game in 2008 is weak* and if we have to judge by Oblivion's story telling then this won't be a narrative gem either. Im renting this one, at most.
"F*** this, Im a pool shark anyway"
that looks ugly, and almost no zombies.
The title implies there are over 25 reasons to buy the game,
this is blantant advertising.
