This whole "EA is now good and innovative" idea is pretty weak imo. New IPs are not the same as innovation. Dead space wasn't overly innovative, pretty generic really. Skate was however a novel idea with its control mechanics. But Skate was a 2007 game, so the only really innovative EA game of 2008 was Mirror's Edge. Mirror's Edge was a great concept, but EA did it all wrong. Its a very short game (5-6 hours max) with no multiplayer, lack of variety in the environments, and not very...
I trust well intended opinions from small sites and on forums more than I do big websites like IGN or Gamespot who are prone to running advertorials. Corporations exist for one purpose $$$$$
Great article. It perfectly describes fanboyism and corrupt journalism.
Im not sure what people are expecting. KZ2 is just a basic FPS that happens to have better than normal graphics. I have never been overly hyped for this game as I am tired of the FPS genre.
I am real excited about this game.
Wow. Let me just say, I am not a violent person, but whoever made that song should be publicly tortured, then shot execution style.
"Sterling: Nah, my problem with the Wii is that it introduced gaming to the same type of people who made 'The Fast Food Song' a hit record. Nothing to do with graphics."
The more I see of this game the more I want it.
Not cool man. Not cool!
It added a challenge to the game. You had to be on time and you had to be able to get back to a safe place to save. It added realism and strategy to the game.
Right idea. Wrong way.
A very rushed title. Short game with little depth, and not great graphics. EA ruins everything.
Skate 1 had a horrible framerate on PS3 (also couldn't tell from the demo). The sequel is probably just as bad. Thumbs down EA.
The real problem isn't so much "sequels" its yearly updates to the decent selling franchises. Its just capitalizing on a market, without really improving the game substantially enough to warrant a new edition.
The shallow reincarnations of games like COD, Guitar Hero, Need for Speed, and Tony Hawk all prime examples among many many more. If that weren't enough developers are going a next step, withholding disc content to sell as DLC. This is a real problem, and the eas...
A: Yes we are.
And a tad disturbing.
it takes forever to install, and it won't even tell me the progress of the install so i have no idea how long. I can only assume infinity. I say boooooo chrome.
He's from Bully. He lives. Does this mean there will be no sequel?
I wouldn't buy from Gamestop hosers anyway.
Thats just a slight variation on the PS3 power button, obviously in reference to the MGS series use of exclamation points. Go look at your ps3 right now. Front of the console where you insert a disc...
This is not a problem exclusive to the PS3. Its now an industry wide practice of withholding disc content to milk consumers with DLC. And it pisses me off. Most games are already overpriced.
