It's still very good but not as novel or fresh as previous Forza games. Laws of diminishing returns apply, even in FH 😐

Sorry to keep harping on but there is a vacuum for specialist racing sims or near-sims. Some people are happy with Forza or GT Sport's Formula 1 or Rallycross sections but a fair few want 20 rally tracks, 40 cars and a track editor.
I will gladly pay full price for a decent version of that and nobody will take my f**king money. Insane.
But seriously though, V-Rally had serious brand recognition to anyone over 30 or so.
They literally had one job - make a solid 7+ rally game
It's a pity. The original series was a revelation
Maybe I am just aggressive on the road but I can't get in a vehicle in a game without trying to be first or getting to point B at the fastest possible speed.

It does come down to licensing for many, many people.
And it would definitely be fairer if we all got to choose the better game rather than the better licensed one.
Especially this year with the online service being good for a change.
