A titan that's inactive does not mean a companion that translates the game into 24 players..
And a titan that's playing "cloud ai" while you play next to it (creating the 12v12 experience) sounds even worse.
No, fanboys on both sides need to wait for more info, PERIOD.
You are right, I didn't interpret it as a cross platform witness, I saw it as him wanting to help people with a job, no matter what reason.
Like sleeping dogs, these "under-par" games might (if not most likely) turn a nice profit, such is the annoyance in seeking investors for a game. And then THEY blame consumer instant-gratification...
I hate you always creating your charlatan names, troll.
But I usually agree ;) enjoy your reactions.
I agree with you that it depends on the game, but the videos we have seen so far have led us to believe otherwise about the player count.
Edit: I think we need to know more, this just brought about a lot of uncertainty. See it in action...
Wait, I'm confused...
What's this about cloud dependency for titanfall? I thought that was x1's thing. It's also coming out on 360 and pc, so the way I see it is that, yes it's easy to implement on pc, but not so much 360. However, with pc, they aren't behind the live paywall, so why give pc cloud capabilities?
Live should have never been subscription based? Or what other inconsistencies justify this? Seriously, I'm only wanting so...
Sales vs business, they are two different things.
Minimur, you can't divide the number of consoles sold per country. Don't forget that they sold one million units on the 15th of November, and that was in N.A. only. That stock has also been replenished several times. The majority of their consoles will go to the markets they have to compete most in.
Pretty sure they stagger the releases sometimes.
Not to mention they will dominate Japan again. 360 couldn't dent that culture, and they are the 2nd biggest gaming market.
@testerg35
Here's the thing. Ps4 is in 30+ countries for 4.2 million.
X1 is in 13 countries for 3 million.
If you live in a country that has x1 then most likely they will be easier to find. That's probably Microsoft's fault, mostly.
That being said, I wouldn't doubt Sony is leading in most of those countries x1 has released in. Especially north America and uk markets (the number one and three markets).
...
I don't think xbox it's done, they just chose a different target demographic than the average to hardcore gamer. Hence the fitness and tv emphasis.
Sorry, ms insulted me during e3 too, it made me sad enough to not want to support it at all. However, not done.
Yeah, key. Ms has said "sold out" in a very loose term. as an example, the gamestop (that I'm quitting so don't mind saying work there now) has not sold out of x1 since black Friday. I also wish that people understood that x1 is doing well at the same time - just not as well ps4.
Congrats to Sony, and thank you to Sony for giving the gamers what we wanted.
I love my vita... it compliments my life very well with remote play and little games.
I agree with you, 1bill in the first weekend if I remember correctly. If I click through, though, I interpret their data (not arguing true or false) that ps3 has almost 16million copies (sales of units) sold? Maybe? I would like clarification too.
Just think it was mislabeled, that's all.
Switch your vita to the dummy account.
Or buy a second vita for the dummy account lol
Or am I missing something
@sith "I have neither the time or energy to cry about something I have no stake in like console sales. If you are a kid (which I suspect many of you may be) then carry on. Adults... what the heck is your motivation to argue with kids?"
If you are an adult, what made you so self-righteous and motivated to post that?
Exactly.
It's just the idea of "pay to win." Pay to win sucks, period, and helps cruddy developers to make more money than they should.
My two years of working at gamestop shows me that the majority of people buying these don't think like you (and me) do.
"No, I only buy cod and Madden." Is a very common example, two yearly iterations of a game title that hardly changes that has mts.
It happens on both sides, mate.
Honestly, I think most of us saw the gameplay videos and thought it felt like it would have more than 6 human players.
It was misleading, and that's why some of us are angry. Not saying the game will be bad, but we were expecting different based on their videos. That's their fault.
