According to Jack or whoever did the video interview xbox360 is only doing good in the UK while PS3 is doing well pretty much all over EU. And like stated before EU is pretty much a sony place. If they listen to them atleast and drop the price and stop that bundle they are giving them now it would sell much better then it is now.

If sony sees that the 60gig is selling better at 499 then it was at 599, then why phase it out, why restart all over again unless the price drop for the 80gig in the near future is 200 bucks and not at 100, because if they drop the 80gig to 499, it just back to square one, where if they would have kept the 60gig for the 10 years or so, we would see that 60 gig at 399 and so on and so forth. How many times ive heard that line, before. At the end of the day Halo 3 graphics wont stand up to what Killzone 2 is pushing and only at pre alpha, so you can say well you know what Bungie probably has like 50 more layers to put on by the time it releases, you can say all the things you want to make you think halo 3 will some how look as good as Killzone 2 when its released. Sure they both release at different times but look at it this way. Halo 3 is 3rd gen game vs Killzone 2 a 2nd gen game...
So even though Microsoft said all meaning 11.6 have this hardware problem, all of a sudden you think yours is the chosen one? even though they said right here "That would be every single one of them, so that little white box in your lounge that hasn’t given you a day of trouble is really just a ticking time bomb…" That statement was directed towards people like you that are for now lucky nothing has gone wrong, but will sooner or later.
I think that gameindustry.biz is making him sound like its confirmed, I think its just what he think will happen because thats why SCEA made the price cut. Until SCEA makes the announcement I will believe it. Until then its what he thinks. For me making it 499 and then going back up to 600 for good again makes no sense.
To make it worse, the dev said this was pre pre alpha, this is just freaking crazy, and this is in the 1st year cycle for the PS3, i cant imagine whats to come 4-5 years later down the road, this is the type of game that people think and say, wow arent we suppose to be seeing this like 5 years from now.
Sony did say 11-13th, so that includes content in the store starting tomorrow :)

To many people on here are just rushing to the bottom of the page to put their 2 cents in,when they totally miss the fact that this game as stated by the dev himself, that its a PRE PRE alpha not PRE but PRE PRE, so people give them a break, I think the real thing will look way better in motion, this just to tease people.
That would be a shocker if this one included a built in HD DVD drive, a smaller CPU chip and better air flow, but if this nightmare becomes true, then it shows trouble. The reason I say nightmare is for one, over 9-10 million own 360's/ Elites and if Microsoft does indeed decided to include a HD DVD drive, this means that new games will use the size which means its unplayable on the other SKU's. On the other side it could be nothing but a new color with the new CPU, but it seems strange that ...
The killzone showing is 9:30pm-12:00am, im not sure if thats est or pst, if its pst then its 12:30am to 3:00am, hopefully there will be alot of articles showing or expressing what they saw, if it was as good or almost as good as what they saw back at E3 2005.
Everything was going good in this thread till you had to put your 2 cents in, for your info PSN wont get a live stream at that time, it will be uploaded after the conference is over. The Blog and G4 are the only places right now that will have live stream from start to finish. And even if they were to stream live of PSN, im sure sony would have took down the network to fix the bandwidth in order to allow better traffic control.

Its a good thing any way you put it, it pretty much allows even more viewers to see the conference, be it if they dont have G4TV and or cable for some strange reason, and the other way around.
This a no shocker, it makes sense anyway, and for the person who disagrees I guess Sony is still making the orignal PS2 right?
