They adamantly support their own products from what it seems unlike the western world where we go with whatever is providing best value for money. Always willing to give that new guy a chance sorta attitude but no not in Japan.
I just hope MS doesn't waste too many resources in a market that doesn't appreciate the XBOX and then ultimately begin to fail their core market. This tends to happen when you spread your resources far 'n wide.

Let's not forget that graphics are only half of the story. I can see 'The Crew' having the edge on gameplay and that's most important, well to me at least.

I actually feel bad for these people that put so much emphasis on resolution and refuse to play anything under that. My favourite games of all time are still those that I used to play in the early to mid 90's. I still play them on a regular basis. There hasn't been a single "1080p" title that I've actually played through more than once.
And discountinuing the use of recycled maps/textures/skins and so on. Show us you actually care about the franchise and most importantly the huge gamer base you've managed to collect over the years!
There's always someone that has to do the exact opposite of the masses, and this guy is it. I don't have a problem with it, after all it's his opinion. He definitely speaks for the very small minority. No game is perfect. Even Last of US which is a GOTY winner I believe and probably regarded as the best game last gen wasn't loved by everyone.

Well for me the most important feature in a game is good story telling. That's the one I look for above all other priorities. If the story is well written I can overlook things like boring gameplay or mediocre graphics. On the other hand if the game had no story or just a lousy slapped on story mode, well the only thing that might keep me playing is if the gameplay was fantastic.
