Did Sony pay for the exclusivity? Not looking so hot now that deal SE and Sony did. What a shambles. I haven't even played the game but was excited just before launch. I was gonna buy it and play with a buddy but the bad reviews and negative reports swayed me to reconsider.

They really should've stuck with next gen only. It's going to be the only GT game of the PS5 generation. It's going to have drawbacks and some ideas will most likely have to be reconsidered. Forza motorsport 8 wont be crossgen. I think it's a total disappointment that they've gone down this route. People want a true next gen experience.

Sony does not own the IP. They own the movie rights and that's how far it goes. Disney owns Spiderman and it's on loan to Sony.
The only way you'll see these upcoming MS exclusives coming to Playstation is if Sony accepts Game Pass. But i do agree that now both companies will be fierce competition for one another. Not like last generation where Sony sailed to victory. Sony have been dominating for the last 10 years while Xbox made mistakes one after another. Even with this acquisition Sony still leads the market but will they have the lead they had with the XB1 vs PS4 generation? No way.
