Might be the case for this generation but why does everyone make it out to be like it's over for Microsoft and XBOX? I imagine this gen will last until 2020. Then what will happen next-gen?

Exactly! Time and time again Japan have shown their disinterest in the console. They're literally just throwing money at a brick wall. They need to dedicate studios to developing games that cater for the Japanese audience and ensure they remain exclusive otherwise what's the point?
The only thing that stopped me from purchasing this game is the difficulty. I love games and have been gaming since the 90s but I just don't see any satisfaction from a game that prides itself on its frustrating difficulty. Just not my type of game. Had there been optional difficulty levels I'd have a copy of the game sat next to me. From Software knew who their game was going to be catered for...I don't think they ever planned to design it in a way so that it would attract larger...

Diddy Kong Racing! I loved Banjo and Kazooie as a kid but hated that when I lost it would always replay that same scene where Banjo's sister would get turned into a frog. Brought tears to my eyes each time and eventually forced me to trade it in for Goldeneye lol.
Looking at the large lead Banjo & Kaz has I think Rare can gather what they should begin working on next.
As long as the games are enjoyable to play I really couldn't give a damn whether they reach 1080p or not. I've gone from playing on the PS4 to the XB1, switching between them all the time and I've never felt 'woah' I can't go back to the XB1. Definitely taken overboard. But hey, it's important to some, so I won't judge. I'm content with resolution/graphics of this gen. I just want better games(plot/gameplay)! That's what I feel is seriously lacking.

In an ideal world this would work out well but in reality won't this end up being a detrimental blow to the XB1? If barely anything is left exclusive on the console there won't be any incentive to buy it!
